in the newbie section, in jiels_liken's thread titled "my carPC Idea '84 camaro," he has been talking about using a atapi-usb adapter and located one online, it basically looks like the internals of the external slimdrive case that as already sold in the store, but would not require any modification to get the parts out (the external drive holder would require the end user to pull it apart, possibly voiding the warranty). using this, it could allow people to custom fabricate locations for their slim drives without needing the external case, or voiding any warranties. I think it is a great idea, and is exactly what i really needed for my install (i am currently using the atapi-ide converter, and that is coupled with a ide-usb cable-too many steps)
