Bluetooth version is nice

I was gonna write a review for the bluetooth version but I'll just add some here. Here is some info from house98. http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/inpu...d-29-99-a.html
By the way I got it for $27.99 at amazon gold box couple of weeks ago.

I will ditto on that stupid how to open and close tape. Took a good 10-20 minutes getting that off. There is still some gue left, I am sure. Once you pass that there is the driver you cannot install. It is designed for handhelds so the menu in the cd does not have an option for windows (pc). Manual says select palm os -> something -> driver. Which gives an error for not having palm os installed. So I've just said screw it and tried to add device in my bluetooth menu and it worked. You have to ctrl+alt+somethin to make the keyboard recognizable. I am at work so we'll go with "somethin".

It is even smaller than the usb version monkeyracer has posted. It folds in two very nicely. Very thin after the fold. The numbers are hidden ,if you will, under the tab, q, w row. So there are only 4 rows of keys. You access them through holding an fn key. They have two function keys which creates some keys with four characters if you count shift combo as well. I'll just post some pictures later make it easy on you guys.

Bottom line is that it is a great bluetooth keyboard with almost full qwerty. It does not have the f1-f12 if I remember correctly. And has some keys for phones and whatnot that are useless for a computer...carputer. Probably it will take some time to get used to it because of the need of fn for some common keys.

Heh, I also got in on the $28 deal. Sweet price. But still a good deal at $41 now IMO. Dead simple to use once you get it set up. Just open the keyboard and start typing. The sync-up is almost immediate. Don't even have to install a driver. Windows XP instantly recognizes it as a bluetooth HID. My only grip is having to hold a function key to get the numbers. Not a big deal once you get used to it.

Thanks

No, and yes.

No, they won't work before the O/S is loaded, as they require the bluetooth stack loaded to operate.

Yes, they have ctrl, alt, and delete.
