yea I guess so! but remember, I had to buy 4 of them in the process! I still have an extra backup board too, hopefully I will never have to use it...(or should I say, 'deal' with it)
cheers,

Anyone able to post up their operating temperatures for this board?
Using SpeedFan, I'm getting the following:
HDO: 47c
Temp1: 60c
Core0: 35c
Core1: 35c
It's also randomly shutting off on me....I'm not 100% certain on this, but it seems like once Temp1 reaches 60c and is there for a while, the system just shuts down.
Going into the system reports, I'm not seeing any errors.
This is the second mobo to do this to me as well....both the same motherboard, just different versions.
Anyone else have issues like this?

Haven't put speedfan on this computer yet, but even here in 110+ AZ heat I haven't had any shutdowns...occasionally I will stick my hand in the glovebox to see how things are cooking, but I am always pleasantly surprised to find my fan arrangement is doing its job and keeping things under control. I did also install a Jetway CPU fan (Obviously, I had some extras!) on the other major heat sink (north bridge?) FYI. It has connectors for three fans, so why not use them. My third fan is a large one mounted to the back of the glove box which draws in air from the floor to the compartment. How is your MB installed?

I deliver food. 4 to 5 hours a night worth of driving. Also my university is about 40 minutes away. So the CarPC is a neccessity.

Sorry about hitting such an old post, but, just thought Id let anyone know who found this on search that all of the problems I had disappeared when I switched to another MB (wound up pulling the Jetway outlined by the OP and put in an MSI fuzzy gm1).
If you are having problems with this particular Jetway board, and want to compare notes, search on my name and you will see what was affecting me.
Glad to say that with the MB swap, it all went away, PSU works, nav works, display works.

Just wanted to chime in... I bought one of these things months ago and I just pulled my system to switch over and I'm getting the exact same thing. Oh well... Looks like the Fuzzy is getting another customer.

I know this is an old thread (but post when I bought and was using my JF92) but I've started having the same problem. The exception here though is that my motherboard worked fine on the bench for months and months. When it was finally time to install in the Car, wired it up... it seemed to boot twice (no VGA output but the BIOS beep could be heard) and since then... nothing.
Can't get it to boot at all. It powers up, and down fine (shorting the power switch pins) but other than that.. nothing.

I got it working! *phew*
It was a combination of 2 things to get it working:
1) Clear CMOS, remove the processor, remove the RAM and power up. Re-plug in the processor and RAM and power up.
This gave me a BIOS beep as before... but no VGA.... so then:
2) Leaving a power supply connected to the motherboard but switched OFF, cleared the CMOS
...rebooted and now it's all working again!
I wonder if it's all down to the CMOS process not being right, and the mobo needing the PSU connected for some bizarre reason!

I just think this board has a bad time initializing video through the BIOS/CMOS.... Fortunately mine has been working A-1 top shape since my last good report here... too bad Jetway couldn't nail down this seemingly minor but disastrous flaw.

Specs once promised 4GB RAM?
It's definitely not re-assuring to read about all these problems *after* buying one of these. I've already gone through my own pain points in order to get this PITA to boot up (and I thought I'd done enough research *facepalm*).
Anyway, I'm curious if anyone else was led to believe this motherboard was capable of supporting 4GB RAM? There were several pages around that stated it (all of which seem to have changed now), and Jetway themselves have tried to 'up-sell' me recently on a new revision that 'will' support 4GB, but are not admitting to either myself or my local reseller that they ever promised 4GB support.
Lastly, has anyone received a slightly left-field revision of the motherboad labelled J9F2-KHDE-LF on the board itself? There's also a marking indicating REV 2.0 just near it. I don't get any Google results at all for this specific revision, although all the other types show up just fine (e.g. J9F2-KHDE-PB, J9F2-KHDE3, as well as the various EXTREME versions).
Anyway, definitely appreciate all the experience and effort shown - some of you have incredible levels of patience when it comes to faulty equipment, that's for sure.

4Gb of RAM is capable from the chipset, the motherboard doesnt support it. That could be what you are seeing there.
