Mobile Wifi Roof Antenna

Well short and sweet. Is what it says. I bought it from the link below, with connection to a Linksys WRTG54 PCI card. I was using the standard little gimpy antenna. (Designed for home/office use)

Pros: Significantly increased my distance and signal strenght.
Load times and updates seem to be much quicker.
Strong Magnent, not too big on the roof either.
Store provides the cable with any connection you can think of

Cons: Cable provided is about 6 FT long, variable lenghts would be nice.

Overall... 10/10 for performance. It did what it said it would.

My buddy at the Firehouse has one of them, he got it last winter...It functions fine, but if you live in an Area of requent winter weather like myself, the road slat killed it. The base of it has rusted and almost damaged his roof. The on I have paid (yes 50 bucks is steeper) is a chrome/stainless finish, so hopefully it'll do the trick.

Radiolabs is were a bought my high power Access Points. They have wonderful customer service too. The Hotel I work at is right in a business district and if I go to a neighboring building I can still connect to my hotels network.

That can already be done with a AirCard, you just have to pay monthly though. I use strictly Internet radio, since i have not gotten xm and my silab to work yet. Im using Sprint which is blazing fast with the new EVDO Rev A network.

Yeah that's a nice if you have a GPS Serial Card.. Furhter investigation of the antenna revealed issues when using GPS and Wireless at the same time.
