I meant that it was dark in my driveway.. Not "this is a picture of how dark it is in my driveway"
Then I meant I'll post more info later...

Try purchasing some cheapo - not so ricey looking - foglights you could place next to your hitch. You could setup some sort of relay that would turn on the lights whenever it senses that your reverse lights go on. This would give you a better picture at night.
Another solution is to purchase and install one of those IR illuminators they sell on eBay (here is an example) and mount that next to your hitch.
Also - post pics!!!!

I saw this today and thought of you:

It's a locking tailgate handle. I thought you might beable to put a camera in the hole instead of the lock. I didn't see one made for your truck by this manufacturer though. Also, this is the camera I've been eyeing for my backup project:

It's quite a bit more expensive than the others but I think the lower lux rating makes it worth it. Just wanted to throw another idea out there.

If those screen shots are actual... That camera looks sweet at night.. With mine you can barely see anything.. I don't really mind it though..
I will post pics tomorrow. I promise!

I like the hitch there, but that pipe running along the spring is not going to stay.
You need to run that along the frame or something

Why do you think it won't stay?? I have it secured with 6 other zip ties... There really wasn't any other place to put it...

Go ahead and try it. But if damaged wires cause expensive problems I'd change it. There is seriously alot of movement in that spring (continous movement). Looking at the photo...it just looks like that pvc pipe is awefully close.

i have the same camera, i installed it this weekend and im curious if you have noticed that its not in great focus and its very UV sensitive.. normal lights seem to be alright but in sunlight it washes out in a green or yellow or even white color. just curious

Sporttracguy, what I've noticed is that when the camera has the sun in view it will look like a black dot where the sun is.. I don't see a green or yellow tint.. Screenshots will have to wait because I'm sending back my Lilli and getting a Xenarc..
