I was especially disappointed in that you have to hold it in for 3 seconds to even turn it off. I ended up attaching it to the ignition wire so it would turn off automatically. That helped a lot!

Provision problem

I bought a used Provision PRTV 800 8" lcd touchscreen. Both RCA video inputs work but there was a broken wire on the VGA plug. I repaired it but when I went to plug it in I realized that the plug on the end of the VGA cable was a 7 pin and the female plug on the board was a 9 pin. Is this similat to yours? I have no documentation for this monitor and calling Provision in Houston for support was a total farce. Can anyone help me?
