I'm running into all kinds of issues with the onboard video of this board now.

It all started randomly. Suddenly, the video wouldn't display. Removed the PC and hooked it up to a normal monitor. No dice.

Went in under Safe Mode and could get in fine. Disabled the video driver and rebooted. Everything was fine.

Reinstalled windows and installed the newest driver, same exact thing. Once I install the driver and restart, I don't get anything on the screen.

Go in on safe mode, disable and restart and I can get into windows just fine.

Only kicker? I don't have any video drivers so some programs won't run. I only have one resolution too...

anyone else run into this issue?

the fact it happened all of a sudden.. points to either a driver update which has bugs OR physical failure... can you try with a older driver? perhaps the one that came on the CD with the mobo ...

when it happened, I hadn't updated the drivers.

It happened while my husband and I were driving around looking at houses...

go figure, when we really needed the nav...lol

Unfortunately I cannot revert to the previous driver on the CD that came with it because that CD has been misplaced.

A few weeks ago, I had to contact iBase and ask for a new CD and they sent one. That's where the new driver is from.

I tried to get it through windows update but it couldn't find a driver for it.

I've sent iBase an email, we'll see what they have to say.

I have an iGoLogic i3368G. I had the same issues, well kinda I am running WinXPe. The issue I had was because the video card was switching over to the LVDS port.
Have you tryed to go into the BIOS and switching it to CRT as the primary port? This didnt help me but it's an idea. So far the fix for me was to go into safe mode and delete all my monitors and install these drivers http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Prod...?ProductID=922

Also you have to install the new drivers in VGA mode ( Press F5 for the boot menu) Good luck

YES! I have ran into this problem with this board. For me it seemed to be correlated with switching monitors while on the bench. I was sharing the monitor between the carpc and my home computer and switching it frequently. I could get it working again by going into VGA mode (as opposed to safe mode), and reinstall the video driver. However, after a while, that solution no longer proved bullletproof. But things like installing a new driver followed by an old driver eventually got it working. The video drivers are available on Intel's website. I'll send the ones I'm using to you. I've never had it go out while connected to a monitor though, only while unplugging a monitor. It seemed to start when I accidentally unplugged the monitor when the computer was on. Maybe your LCD went out or acted up when the car computer was on and had a similar effect??

as with any computer, in order to have multiple output monitors you need a multiple output video card.

RoHS is a no lead compliance for all components. It's becoming an international standard to help reduce the amount of lead in the environment that might come into contact with the public.

I thought that most if the iBase boards came with 2 LVDS ports.

Exact same video problem, and can't find drivers either. If anyone comes up with a good solution would love to hear it. I will be working on it over the weekend and if I come up with anything solid I will post it here.

Video drivers

You can get the latst 945GM video drivers from Intel's website here:

http://downloadcenter.intel.com/filt...4&submit=Go%21

This assumes you are running Windows XP. Otherwise start here:
