Strange Black Box in RR

I just installed the latest DigitalFx (2.22) I used the installer and it seems to load fast and ok but I get this box... A rectangular black box with a purple box underneath.. Like some type of display problem. This used to happen with the old RR(11/26/06) only when pressing certain buttons like phoco or video which I do not use. Now DigitalFx starts with it.. I searched for "black box" but came up with several unrelated problems (like hardware black boxes, instead of one on the screen)..

(note: not the actual screen, a recreation since no keyboard in car)

When you ran the installer there would have been some very important instructions at the end, something about rr.ini

You either are running the wrong version of the software, or the wrong fastmode setting in RR.INI.. or you may be pointing to a wrong skin path altogether..

Actually when you ran the installer, the very last screen of the installer looked like this:

So that file was copied to your desktop, and just to make sure, when clicking the "EXIT" button above, the mentioned text file opened automatically displaying the instructions, and lines to copy and paste to the rr.ini file. The instructions were also added in your Start Menu/DigitalFX Skin, and also detailed in the included help file, which the Installer put a shortcut to on your dekstop, and in the start menu.

You also need to be running the latest version of Road Runner with PNG support. Oh..... The latest version of RoadRunner.exe was also copied to your desktop during the install (And the new .DLL that is needed was installed in your RR directory and registered for you)
I honestly do not know how to make it any clearer at this point
