thnx for the update blue.. i am having trouble starting the EXE in Vista.. it does not start..even when using compatability mode.. my home pc is vista, so testing will not be possible, i will try it in the car..
EDIT:
not a vista problem..it seems like a problem with the SKIN FOLDER PATH..it will not run unless you delete the skin folder line from rr.ini..
when you run the config then it will let you browse for a skin folder but the config will hang there

What is your guys skin path's? I do not have this problem on mine machine. When does it seem to hang, as soon as you click the browse button next to the path?

just tried it. i click on the exe, then it appears it does not open, but in the task manager it shows it running.
edit: just removed the lines in rr.ini for skin directory now it opens.
edit2: now it opens everytime after saving settings, outside of the road runner folder. inside the folder it does not open.

ok heres what i did to get it to work, (at least for me).
I deleted rr.ini, then ran rrconfig.exe from post #517, in c:\program files\road runner\rrconfig.exe and let it make a new rr.ini......
now its working. weird but it is working.

Neither open from within the RR folder; from the outside it opens but blank (no settings) - it does not read rr.ini

it does not work also..
the problem is the line for "skinpath"
if you delete manually that line it will run fone.. that is why it runs fine outside the RR directory..it does not find a rr.ini, so it creates it..as soon as you populate that line it will not run.
if you open the config then and press the browse button it will let you choose a path but then the config will freeze..not able to save etc..you have to close it with Ctrl-Alt-Del
My skin path is C:\Program Files\Road Runner\Skins\MMM nothing weird, i tried changing the path to something shorter..but no go as well

Ok problem found and fixed!!
Re download as I didn't change the version just for this fix...
Oh and Nomader what ever happen to that translation?
