Video isnt working

So I am in the process of setting up my carpc initially -- and I have roadrunner mostly working. Mp3's play, my SilAbs tuner works (mostly) and the GPS works fine, but anything with video doesnt work. I have tried messing around with it a bit but not exactly sure whats up. All I get is a black screen where the video should be. (No sound either so it's not playing and just not showing video either.) FYI I have read through all the FAQ's and quite a bit on these forums but havent figured this one out yet.

Any Insight?

-I have media player classic installed
-The path to MPC is in my rr.ini
-MPC does play any selected video file just fine standalone (outside of RR)

Also another quick thing is my volume control doesnt work? Any time I change it in RR it sets the system vol to about 5%, no mater what RR is set to.

For the volume, change the map master volume to . . . option in RRconfig

For the video show us your video settings in RRConfig.

You probably have some codec issues in your machine.. but you can play with MPC because it has it's own decoders.. however, in RRConfig you're set to use the built-in (API) player, not MPC -- uncheck the "Built-in" player option and it will start using MPC.

Still doesnt work even if I uncheck 'built in player'

It seems to be attempting to run winamp in the BG for the video (not MPC?)

(The video plays standalone in winamp fine too and you can see it actually playing in the winamp video screen when you try to alt tab when playing video in RR)

Is the built in player just using the windows media player control?

Looking at your MPC path (on your screenshot) -- you need to put "mplayerc.exe" at the end of it (checking the config, this should be either added automatically or allow the selection of the file itself, a "bug" so to speak).

FWIW I also noticed another bug in RR Config (The new one)
When I have my radio set to SILabs (radiomode=7) -- it never saves the setting -- every time I open RR Config and re-save it will change it to radiomode=0 and I either need to manually change it back to a 7 or go to the radio screen and click the SiLabs radio button and then I can save.
