Road Runner won't load music

hi, I'm new here but I have been doing car PC's for about a year now.
Anyways, I decided to change from MediaEngine to RoadRunner. The only problem is: Road Runner will not load my music. The only way that it will load my music is if I open up winamp first and start playing music through that. I have tried making a new playlist and tried to get it to play it out of that, but it still will not work. I really want to get this working because Road Runner has a lot of features that I would like to utilize. Thank you!

Download RRConfig and set you music path. You need to tell RR wheer your music is.

I'm not sure how to do that exactly. the instructions were difficult for me to understand. could you possibly explain it in a less technical way?

If using the new config ver 1.0.0.0, there is no longer a need to reg it!

1-Make sure you're not using winamp LITE
2-Make sure your path to winamp is correct in RRConfig

Did you specify file extensions in RRconfig?

I had the exact same problem after updating Roadrunner. My problem was that I was using RRconfig, the really old one. If you run the new Road Runner config that Blue Z made, it will register and fix it for you, along with other amazing things.

Here's the catch... the new Roadrunner config file is named "RR config.exe", the old one, which installs with Roadrunner, is "RRconfig.exe". Note the space in the filename.

It took me a while to figure out what was going on, since my shortcut was for RRconfig, and I thought that I was running the new one and actually I was running the old one. Maybe this isn't the way it is in your install, as things often go crazy just for me so that I feel like an idiot and look like a fool...

After I switched to the new config (KICKS ARSE BLUE) I had to select the audio file types that I wanted to play, then it worked fine.

tried both those things and it ALMOST worked! for some strange reason, i cannot have road runner hide winamp, or it doesnt work. If its hidden, it doesnt work. If its visible, it works! it isnt a big deal for me so im happy now.
One more question: how do I have road runner start on bootup? i dragged the shortcut to the startup folder in the start menu, but is there a way it can start up before windows loads? media engine had the option to make it the default shell, so im sure that road runner must have something like that.
Thanks a lot everyone!
