Hey thanks for the sources, man. This will tide me over until the latest one comes around; trying to see what the issue is between the 2 most recent ones for me.

Question please:

Is winamp 5.13 still the recommended version for RR?

Also, try as I may, I cannot get album art to display. It wasn't working, then it started on a reboot and now it has dissapeared again. In between there somewhere my album art somehow became "hidden", I have no idea how. I had to use a cmd line prompt to remove the hidden attribute. Upon "unhiding" the jpg's, the album art won't show....
I've done complete fresh reinstall of rr 12/06/07, newest void (big vis opt 1), and am running full xp sp2 install. Nothing changed, it's all as it comes "out of the box" except for the media paths. Made a folder with one song in it and the album art. The song plays but nothing shows in the album art box!

What am I missing here????

Seems as if RR is deciding what it wants to do randomly (Yes I know that's not really possible....or is it?)

Can you zip your ml folder in winamp\plugins and make it available for download ?

Hey there, by any chance did you have time to check the file I uploaded? Thx
Still having this issue where adding a folder/genre that has more than X songs closes RR with error.
Greatwhite question makes me think it might not do the error with Winamp 5.5 !?

Going to have a look now.............

*edit- thanks for the reply, but the skin is different in void 3.2 than dfx (at least the commnads appear to be. Written like so:
RoadRunner Skin
RRScreen audio_player
AUDIO_PLAYER_NEW_EMPTY.png,AUDIO_PLAYER_NEW_OFF.pn g,AUDIO_PLAYER_NEW_ON.png,AUDIO_PLAYER_NEW_ON.png

I think I'm going to try wiping RR and void completely off the drive a start a fresh install..............

How exactly are you placing album art? I would suggest going overboard, and do what I do: Album art is placed -

1. In the playlist folder
2. In the Album directory
3. In the Artist directory (goes E:Music/Artist/Album/tracks.mp3

Thanks, but a complete wipe and reinstall of winamp, rr and the skin has solved my problems.

My art is placed in the album folder aof all the albums and is also embedded in some of the music files.

Cheers

This thing is driving me crazy...reinstalled fresh copy of RR again, fresh copy of WInamp 5.13; removed all MP3, recopied them, rescanned library in Winamp and in RR, and still each time I queue a artist/album/genre that has more than around 20 songs...bug. :/

I feel your frustration...

I've done a couple of fresh installs with no luck. I am using LSX Void 3.2 skin with this and all the button text seems to disappear...and it locks up RR completely...

I have been able to replicate this crash issue with the winamp library here.. I'm still trying to figure out what's going on since it only happens when RR is compiled, meaning, there's no easy way for me to debug it.

Hi all,

I'm seeing RR choke itself on CPU cycles. As I click buttons to navigate though the DFX Skin the cycles seem to get higher and higher until RR is sitting at 90%+ on my Athlon 3500+, is this a known/fixzble issue?

I used the new installer to create a fresh RR install. I have DFX2.0 +SP2.5 and winamp 5.04 running.

No problems here, except that the gps indicator doesn't work. Guino knows and has it fixed for when ever he releases another version.
