How do I change GE_START ?
Hi All,
I just upgraded to Google Earth Pro and now it won't launch in RR (Google Earth Basic was fine).
Only thing I can see different is the name of the Window which is 'Google Earth Pro' instead of 'Google Earth'.
The skins all just seem to use the 'GE_START' and 'GE_EMBED' commands but I can't see where I can edit those commands to include the info for Google Earth Pro.
How do I fix this?

The GE plugin only works with the Basic/Free version of GE... the only difference in the pro version is the ability to import points from a handheld gps and uses other servers for connection (supposedly faster, but from what I hear are actually slower).... someone with GE Pro would have to code the changes in order to make a compatible plugin for it.

I thought you had to have Google Earth Plus for the GPS support?

Ok now I'm in trouble.
I uninstalled all versions of Google Earth, installed the older version and because I am now registered for Plus it always says Google Earth Plus for the window name.
Wasn't there a way to manually embed an external app in RR when you launch the skin be grabbing the named window? What is the syntax for that?

the syntax in this manner is irrelevant. if you load the skin in that standard proceedure none of the rrearth features will work. Google information on downgrading google earth pro to basic. i remember having to go thru this early on myself.
