custom lists - custom saving?

hi, im designing a cdburning plugin, kinda.

i have a program taht will burn a cd based on a text file. it will burn a list of mp3's in a .txt file. i have no problem creating a custom list full of the music.

but when i go to save it, RR by default saves the custom list with a bunch of funky other stuff. my custom list contains all the full paths to the songs (which can just as easily be covered up by ID3 info).

basically, im asking how i can save a custom list with the format:

C:\Music\Artist1\Greatest Hits\Song 1.mp3
C:\Music\Artist1\Greatest Hits\Song 2.mp3
C:\Music\Artist2\Greatest Hits\Song 5.mp3
C:\Music\Artist3\Greatest Hits\Song 15.mp3

............

You'd probably need to make a script for something like that.. RR saves list in it's own format ready for reloading when needed.. a very simple script could generate the text file from RR's format though. You can also make RR do it with it's own commands, but that can get quite complex (This is a "script" for ExecTBL):

Code:
"SAVELIST","RUNQW;DELTXT.BAT||SETVAR;FN;1||DOSAVE" "DOSAVE","SETVARBYCODE;FNAME;CLTEXT$FN$||ADDTOFILE;mp3s.txt;$FNAME$||DOMORE" "DOMORE","SETVARBYCODE;NFILES;CLMAX||EVAL;LAST;strcomp("$NFILES$","$FN$")||BYVAR;LAST;INCNEXT<<" "INCNEXT","EVAL;FN;FN+1||DOSAVE"

(No guarantees of the above but some similar code will probably work)

As I said, doing this kind of thing solely in RR is possible, but gets complex.. I'd suggest making an autoit script or making a separate script (in whatever you know how to code it) to "convert" the file RR saves into the format you want to use.
