Explain Sirius and RR to me?

Ok, so i am a huge fan of sirius radio and i use LSX skin, we were both kinda wondering what each button does

like what does New List do, Del List, Scan, Add1, Delete, Fav, Save info

no idea what any of those do, i press them and they do nothing, he said he just included them in skin because they were same as BMV2

so if anyone could explain what these do, or what buttons we could make for sirius..that would rock

i was hoping to have something like previous channel on there

and the major thing that would prob take alot of work is a seek favorite, what it is if you find a song u like, lets say, Modest Mouse - Float on, then you hit Save to favorites... this way you can store like 20 or however many and whenever that song comes on another station it would pop up saying SEEK ALERT Float on- modest mouse on channel 48, tune now? yes or no?

i saw this on 1 of the external units they sell

As far as I know no one has programed song or artist seek in RR or any other front end. I'm sure it's possible though as the yahoo sirius widget has that feature.

As far as the buttons:

New List: Creates a new playlist, which allows you to cut the channel list down to a favorites style list, so you don't have to scroll through all 120+ channels.

Del List: Deletes the current playlist

Scan: Sort of like seek on an AM/FM radio. It plays a few seconds from a channel and then tunes the next channel, plays a few seconds, etc.

Add1: Allows you to add channels to the current play list

Delete: Deletes current channel from the current play list

Fav: Changes between play lists.

Save info: No idea, this button isn't in the BMV2 skin and I've never used the LSX skin.

I'm running Sirius. See if they work for you in the BMV2 skin.

Save info sounds like a skin feature (probably to save the current song info onto a list or something -- so you can get it later from your favorite store)..

The other functions should be as listed on post #3 -- but if some screens are missing those buttons may not work right.
