double tapping....
in playlist, u can switch music with a single tapping. But, in browsing Albums, it requires a double tapping... I looked at the code, I don't really see the difference other than "PL" vs "DL"...
Is that by design or can i make them all to work with a single tapping?
Thanks for ur help..

It depends on what skin you are using, how it is set up. You can add lines to the exectbl.ini to make it react on certain skins the way you want it to. The following commands are used:
"ONFILECLICK",""
"ONDIRCLICK",""
"ONPLCLICK",""
"ONDLCLICK",""
"ONPBCLICK",""
"ONPLSELCLICK",""
"ONDLSELCLICK",""
For instance, if you want to single tap a directory, in the audio browser to enter the directory, add this to the exectbl.ini:
"ONDIRCLICK","BROWSE",Audio_browser.skin
This will then only occur on the skin specified, the Audio_Browser.skin in this case.
(Note: To have this work on all skins on your system, place that line in the exectbl.ini in the Road Runner folder. To have it work on a specific skin, put it in the exectbl.ini in the specific skins folder, keeping in mind that skin names are sometimes different from skin to skin for certain features and functions)

That was it... Thanks again John...
"ONDIRCLICK","BROWSE",Audio_browser.skin
"ONFILECLICK","????",Audio_browser.skin
directory single tapping works great... and, i also wanna load the files with a single tapping instead of double but failed to find the right command, i think... I've tried several, "play", "reloadlist", and a few others... Didn't seem to work... Do you happen to know which comand i need to replace "????" with for onfileclick?

This should do what you are looking for:
"ONFILECLICK","SELECT",Audio_browser.skin
Use:
"ONFILECLICK","!SELECT",Audio_browser.skin
if you want to stay in the same screen, and not go to the audio player automatically when the song is played.
Keep in mind, there appears to be a bug in RR, that if music is played, and you use the above, or even double tap a song, that it will not play that song, but will instead resume whatever was playing before.

my mind went somewhere else completely when I read "double tapping"...........
Amyways, I got around a similar annoyance by setting the mouse preferences in windows itself to single click.
Just what worked for me.........
Cheers

Ahh, I was just about to post about this. It's a bit annoying. How do you work around it?
Just curious. Is the owner interested in resolving this one?
