my software ABSOUTLY shows them

that sub count might be wrong in ur skin, 1st you have to be using the newest dll, 2nd the skin code must be right for changing to next hd subchannel

if there is only 1 HD channel, sub count is 0, why it shows, is how RR/SKIN works, i dont think there is any logic
it just shows the subcount

now i have NO idea if RR supports the HD2,HD3 titles or how it does...
I can look later, right now focus is on XM

I use latest dll from your first post, as your latest software form your web (downloaded it 1 week ago). Sub count is right on first 3 pictures of skin (I use your code for subchannel button and I can switch to all 3 streams) but looks like labels for hd2 and hd3 not working.

Here are pictures of your software:

and skin labels marked:

@MitchJS,

Thanks for the update on the DLL, I just ordered another updated cable from you since I have an unused HD tuner here and I want to test out the new DLL with the new cable.

My first carPC HD tuner, linked with your original cable I bought back in December, and your original DLL has been ROCK SOLID in the car so I have not changed anything and it has not let me down yet.

I will get the new cable and the new DLL running on the desktop and report back here with my thoughts.

@AXm

Did you ever get any pics of your carPC, I've baan wanting to see that chassis with componets mounted

It's still new to me since I have yet to test it out

I really want to set it all up so I can resume RR skin coding development.

Note taken about the code.

Song Tagging

Mitch,

Does your DLL suport saving the current song (tagging) Seems a couple of the skins have this featrure, but I can't seem to get it to work. I also noticed your standalone front end does not have a bitton for this.

Thanks
Randy

Tagging, when you are listening to a song you like, you hit the tag, or save button. On a real HD radio it connects to your iPod and you can then download the music via iTunes, in our scenario you would hit save and it would save the RDS data to a text file. Take a look at DFX3.0 and the HD radio skin and you will see the save button, but it does not work as I'm sure its there for future integration.

doing this is extremely simple.. You save a label to a text file. I have it in my skin as well.

i will upload the autoitscript that manages it. It doesnt have any ipod interaction though so dont be confused... this only writes the song name to text file
