i have been trying to get the rr weather to look at the Uk weather channel site uk.weather.com, but it seems that rr is only looking at the USA site www.weather.com/.
I can get a few UK places showing correctly , is there a way to change this .
I'm not meaning the images that you will find in DFX sat,radar,and so , just the standard weather forcast images, 1day and 5 day.

weather.com provides world wide weather forcasting... you shouldn't have any problem for UK... I mean it finds a little tiny ciy in a little tiny nation in Asia.. We are talking about the Queen here... it has to be there.. For standard images.. there should be a weather dir in rr root for all the weather images.... just copy dfx weather image to rr root.. or other custom made images from any skin... by the way, your skin for traffic camera looks awsome...

it dose pull some towns for me, but if i put in norfolk, or kings lyne, it gives me the usa towns i think , well if i put Battersea nothing at all, Ely i get Ely NV to which i persume is states side, even Liverpool comes up with oh which i think is ohio. so there must be a way to specify its a uk town not any other country,

yeah.. you are right.. only big/int'l cities....

I think John can help you... if no weather relevent ini has that url defined then, it must be hiding in one of those autoscript john wrote..

Yeah in most cases the uk isn't well catered for but Liverpool just took a little trial and error (it helps to go to Weather.com first and make sure you can find your city/town,sometimes it gives you a choice of location with that name.

If you open the link your after you will have this in your browser bar "http://www.weather.com/outlook/travel/businesstraveler/local/UKXX0083" and its the code at the end that you should take note of as when entering your location through RRConfig it updates the myweather.xml on its next update and if you then open myweather.xml you can compare the UKXXCODE from the site with the XML to be sure its the right info.

If your not getiing the right info its because of the wording used for your location in RRConfig,I finally got the right Liverpool by entering "Liverpool, United Kingdom" (without quotes).

yep thats better,

at least i can now start to play more, now that Mobile internet ,has really started to kick in here and the price has dropped big time £5.00 a month for me. i can now start to add internet func skins.
