Line-in problem
Hi,
I just got my HD Radio working with Mitch's cable, really nice stuff. However, I'm having a problem with Road Runner and the line-in. RR does unmute my line-in, which is good. But for some reason, the volume is set to the lowest and I have to manually change it so that I can hear the radio.
Anyone got an idea why my line-in's volume gets set to the lowest?

I have the same problem but it only seems to happen after I use Iguidance for navigation. Would love to find a solution.

Hmmm... that might explain the "randomness" of it. So iGuidance is the culprit? I'll test that tomorrow. Btw, any solution? Maybe using the winamp line-in plugin?

I haven't figured anything out yet. Not even sure if it only happens when using Iguidance, I just noticed there might be a connection. I also lose all my presets in the HD radio skin. So bizarre. I might just put a button in the HD radio skin that executes a program that raises the line in to a certain level and unmutes it.

What about adding a command to your exectbl.ini to increase the line-in volume when you open the hdradio skin?

It's actually pretty easy. It's a setvolume command.
What skin are you using?

Of course you had to pick the most complicated skin.....
I need to do some more poking around.

Hehe, sorry. Actually, I prefer LSX, but the HD Radio works better with DFX.

I think I fixed the problem by using the winamp line-in plugin. And that also makes the radio work better with iGuidance, since RR lowers the volume of winamp when IG speaks.
Two birds with one stone! And I don't seem to get any performance penalty
