Save your logs for Mitch.... I had the same kinds of issues until I wired my XM and HD to be on w/computer power supply. Ever since XM and HD have been perfect -- doesn't matter which was active when I hibernate. For whatever reason my setup doesn't fully come out of hibernate until I hit the touchscreen.... so I usually wait a bit

well i cant duplicate that error now so i'll just let it go. Now couple of other things i have been able to duplicate. If i go from XM playing, back to the main menu, the run the RADIO command radio will successfully turn on and play, but if i go back to the main menu radio turns off and XM goes back to playing. Is it supposed to work this way?

Another thing i've noticed is that your SAT and TER labels dont update after resume. If i restart road runner they start working again.

here's my debug showing whats goin down with the XM switchback problem.

what is "run the radio command"

looking at your log, its all correct
your "wasradio" didnt change, so it still set to xm..

like i said before, RR source handling isnt so good

what is ur radio? hd radio? turn on hddebug=true
without that log useless...

i ran the RR command "RADIO" which turns on the radio and goes to radio_player.skin. If wasradio didnt change then why did xm turn off and radio become tunable (cant neccessary hear it because of lack of line-in... but usually if radios not working at all frequency wont tune to stations)? And i do have HDDebug=true in rr.ini. Least i believe so.. i'll double check maybe it got erased somehow

the log is HD FREE from your resume at 8:06:44

NO log entries for the HD Radio powing on...
7/3/2008 8:06:44 AM: HD---> HDRadioPowerOn:
7/3/2008 8:06:44 AM: HD---> HDRadioPowerOn: frmCOM.oHD.Open

thats why it failed

it tried to open the port, and couldnt

and this

7/3/2008 7:59:43 AM: ResumeFromHibernate: Start tuners... Sirius, XM, & HD
7/3/2008 7:59:43 AM: XM---> XMLoadIn: xmcache.ini, XMLastChannel=140
7/3/2008 7:59:43 AM: XM---> XMLoadIn: End Sub
7/3/2008 7:59:43 AM: XM---> XMPowerON: .Open
7/3/2008 7:59:43 AM: HD---> HDRadioPowerOn:
7/3/2008 7:59:43 AM: HD---> HDRadioPowerOn: frmCOM.oHD.Open
7/3/2008 7:59:43 AM: CheckResume: ResumeMusic=2 WasRadio=2
7/3/2008 7:59:43 AM: XM---> XMActive:
7/3/2008 7:59:43 AM: XM---> XMActive: PORT not OPEN, waiting...
7/3/2008 7:59:43 AM: XM---> XMActive: XMON=True, XMTuneTo=140
7/3/2008 7:59:43 AM: XM---> XMActive:
7/3/2008 7:59:43 AM: XM---> XMActive: PORT not OPEN, waiting...
7/3/2008 7:59:43 AM: XM---> XMActive: XMON=True, XMTuneTo=140
7/3/2008 7:59:43 AM: XM---> Radio not found
7/3/2008 7:59:43 AM: HD---> oHD_HDRadioEventSysPortOpened: .PowerOn
7/3/2008 7:59:43 AM: XM---> oXM_XMEventPortOpened: .PowerOn
7/3/2008 7:59:45 AM: HD---> oHD_HDRadioEventHWPoweredOn
7/3/2008 7:59:45 AM: XM---> oXM_XMEventRadioReady:

looks like "another RR", just another front end, written in a old legacy language
it doesnt jump out, id prob have to see it in action
i for sure dont like the sample images, looks cluttered and hard to use when driving
like most skins... great when not moving...
course i've been spoiled, by my control... the sony rm-x11

is there a download?
