Don't use hibernate...
I have a TS liliput monitor and have no problems coming out of standby, I'm also not using any XM, Sirus, or HD radio. Music resumes, screen fully updating, ect...

Here's two debug.txt files. One with resumecheck=true and one with resumecheck=false. Hope it helps, mitch!

9/17/2008 4:48:29 PM: Leave Exec: False, radio_player.skin, ONRESUME, False
9/17/2008 4:48:29 PM: ResumeFromHibernate: Start tuners... Sirius, XM, & HD
9/17/2008 4:48:29 PM: HD---> HDRadioPowerOn:

9/17/2008 4:48:29 PM: CheckResume: ResumeMusic=2 WasRadio=1
9/17/2008 4:48:29 PM: CheckResume: StartRadio
9/17/2008 4:48:29 PM: HD---> startradio: HDRadioActive = True
9/17/2008 4:48:29 PM: SpeedVol Mode=line OldVol=26200 NewVol=26200 Speed=0.05753895 BaseVol=0
9/17/2008 4:48:29 PM: SpeedVol Mode=line OldVol=26200 NewVol=26200 Speed=0.05753895 BaseVol=0
9/17/2008 4:48:30 PM: Error on InitDX: -2005532109 Automation error
oh no we're running the same code twice!!
9/17/2008 4:48:30 PM: ResumeFromHibernate: (Start)
9/17/2008 4:48:30 PM: Enter Exec: False, radio_player.skin, "ONRESUME", False
9/17/2008 4:48:30 PM: Que Exec: True, radio_player.skin, "ONRESUME", False
9/17/2008 4:48:30 PM: Executing: ONRESUME
9/17/2008 4:48:30 PM: Leave Exec: False, radio_player.skin, ONRESUME, False

9/17/2008 4:48:30 PM: HD---> HDRadioPowerOn:
9/17/2008 4:48:30 PM: HD---> HDRadioPowerOn: frmCOM.oHD.Open
see the problem!
now the init InitDX error, is a OBJECT creation error or something
would have to research that more, but its releated to GDI+ Drawing and DirectX

Stealthj
i cant really see any reson to have resumecheck=true
does it solve anything? we know it creates problems
but i can actually code in a saftey, so code dont execuite twice
but most say this doesnt solve the "touch screen" to resume
does it make a difference?

I don't know what resumecheck is SUPPOSED to do, but when I have it set to "true" I don't need to touch my screen for RR to unhang, so it does work for me.
I'll try leaving RR hung with resumecheck=false and see what happens after a few min.

OK, then its part of the "GREEN" (blow me) power management that windows has built in now
there is NOTHING WRONG, its a great concept... sucks here for car pc..
i will write a test program...
the best way to see if there is any work around would be, someone get me a touch screen that does this... a loaner
cause then if its solvable, ill solve it..

Has this actually anything to do with the touch screen?
It is hard to imagine.
I originally thought this was an application focus issue.

i have the same problem. Motherboard is intel gly.
I have windows messages logging program. And some strange think i've got: Windows will send WM_PowerBroadcast with
WParam=PBT_APMRESUMESUSPEND
only after user touchs with the screen!

it might not be touch screen, its JUST PART OF THE BIOS!!!
to keep you from accidently wasting oh so precious electricty!!
how about posting motherboad mfg/models
i think this will NOT be solved! (with software)
its DONE ON PURPOSE
we could solve it with hardware!

I did a quick test today and can confirm that the computer hibernates by itself after about 5 minutes if I don't touch the screen while it is hanging (resumecheck=false).
I use an Intel D201GLY2A motherboard/cpu.
