I am having issues with a new system I just installed and it seems to be related to this thread.

When I resume from hibernate I have to use my keyboard or right click before my touch screen will activate any RR screen buttons. Then when I change screens I have to repeat. If I reboot completely all is fine.

i have tried various drivers but i only have the problem in RR
Any thoughts?

I spent a whole day reconfiguring my RR.ini until I got it working just right with that motherboard. Read this link here:

Yeah i had read the green thing. I just dont understand why it only does not work in RR. If i tap the windows menu key it comes up in front of RR and the touchscreen functions fine. Only in RR until a right mouse buttun is pushed from my usb keyboard.

So what do I try now?

try hibernating without some of the stuff plugged in.. try to remove everything but the touchscreen.. there's a good chance it might work, if not, try finding updated touchscreen drivers and/or disabling any touchscreen applications that may be running.

Just had the lock problem this morning. Went into StandBy last night and this morning it came back up with the last screen from last night. I hit the volume button and it updated the screen and froze again, as in Not Refreshing The Screen. Nothing changed in my setup, only installed the last version of RR and added SreenRefresh=5.

Same problem here, same motherboard... Although at one point i didnt have the problem. Also for some reason right when i turn on the computer now i have to wait a second or two for the touchscreen to become responsive.

Hi *,

ticking off the checkbox for "hibernate awareness" in settings did the fix for me. RoadRunner and embedded progs run as expected. no reenter into hibernate after 5 minutes.
The only issue remaining is the iList-blackout after resume

This is a DirectX issue -- it drops the memory surfaces without telling it's clients (RR in this case).. RR has many built-in functions to detect/correct this issue, but if your hibernate/resume procedure isn't working right to begin with, my guess is that the only solution for you will be to reload the skin after resuming (i.e. by adding: "ONRESUME","RELOADKSKIN" to exectbl.ini)
