well, this was a try, but since hibernation awareness is switched of, skin reload didn't work.
ticking this on leads to a reload of the skin, but the initial problem is not solved then.

The only issue remaining is the iList-blackout after resume
not having hibernate aware on, will have other issues...
also, what does "ticking off" mean, unchecking?

sorry, I meant unchecking.
Well, when I check "Hibernate aware" on and add skin reloading, the problems are even worse. I have to tap on the screen to unfreeze Roadrunner, then the skin reloads (I use the old Carwings skin) but I get a small white rectangle in the left upper corner. Have to tap again to get rid of it.
Which issues are to expect, when "hibernate aware" is not switched on?

on hibernate:
hdradio, sirius, xmradio will not close
internal gps, temp com stuff will not close
winamp will not be told to stop
hdradio, sirius, xmradio, will not restart
internal gps, temp com stuff will not restart
winamp will not get reinited(may not be a problem)
screen refresh will be missed
NOT TO MENTION, the next hibernate/resume is gonna really be messed up
if u wanted, we could work together, and figure out what stage in the Resume u got issues at...
i would make a couple custom builds...
when i think about it... im not sure the why this check is even needed
Please collect a debug.txt for a session with a resume, and ATTACH it here

Well, I don't have those radios over here in good old germany
Also, tried 2 days without hibernate awareness and everything worked except the ilists.
Anyway, I'd like to have this issue resolved and I'll attach the debug file here tomorrow.

WEll, I have to read the threads more carefully I have the same issue with InitDX.
Installed RideRunner (2/2/2009) and the issue is gone.
But I have a strange problem with mixer settings. Initially, no sound was coming. As i went to the mixer, the settings for master volume was 100%, bass 0%, treble 0%, cd 0% and so on. I anyway tried to increase the master volume and bass, treble, cd and aux went up and sound came out. Is it a new issue?

You probably changed the master volume map setting.. check/set that mapmastervol=0 in rr.ini
