I tested it in VMWare, it works.

I am reminded about how much I hate vista and how I'll resist changing to it for as long as possible. The few minutes it took to test this out was painful and annoying.

Vista is really nice, i switched long ago.. if you're a gamer, it might be slower, but i doubt it since sp1, its much much more secure, a bit naggy if you got UAC on.

the Audio subsystem is NOTHING like xp... for the 1st time in years, MS dumped the audio system which has been around since win95/98, its the programs responsiblity to update. i really like how vista gives me volume control on a per application basis, been a long time need

audio management in RR isnt very good anyway... a hodge podge of mixer control/winamp(some other player)

oddly i cant think of any application that doesnt work with vista
some have issues with UAC, but you have to understand why, and the transistion ms is taking... from basicly no filesystem security to alot. in the past everyone was basicly an administrator... no more
course for advanced users(which is not people) you can turn off UAC

my 2 cents
Mitch
