I see your point john,in plug-in form we could add it to the any release but thats not the real issue is it.
It looks like Guino is tiring of RR and still we can't get hold of more current source code,as a result RR is slipping into chaos, uumpteen releases going around and most of em buggy.
What we're seeing here is IMHO the shape of things to come, reminds me of Skippy76's days.
EDIT:What i'm saying is we need to get hold of the latest source asap and come up with a Dev plan of phases where each contributor gets the source in turn and adds to it followed by a month or so of beta testing followed by a release of both RR and its current source.

yes, john, i have been in contact with guino, you and others seem to miss this one point
if guino merges my changes, im out... since he at this point is not able to release the source
until he can release, or until im done, make the choice
1. slow HD/XM/Sirius
2. fast HD/XM/Sirius
mitch

I had also recommended that Mitch convert his HD, XM, and Sirius code into a plugin, similar to the silabs radio plugin, that way it can go into the newest code. But it also seems like he has been tidying up some other things in the codebase he has access to.
As Mitch has stated, he doesn't really want to learn how to code a plugin, and I cannot blame him, he doesn't use Road Runner or own a CarPC.
It seems he has contributed to our cause quite a bit to help out the community.
As others have stated, it would be best if we could get the forks of RoadRunner melded back into one. Just my worthless $.02
Any ideas on when Guino will be back into things?

its DONE
MJS UAS is OUT of RoadRunner.exe
and is NOW A PLUG IN!!!!!!!!
I wrote it in C#
SO MUCH NICER THEN WORKING IN VB6
right now, the plastics are being machined
takes about 5 days (i dont pay for the rush job)
its not cheap as it is, to have 6 holes made in 50 boxes
low q = high $
i would consider selling someone a UAS today, with out a case
so we can have another tester out there (mail case later)

It's a bus switcher: you choose which input you want to be active at any given time. Meaning you can put in your XM radio, your satellite radio, your HD radio, your iPod, your AUX source, your old headunit, whatever -- and use USB to select which one comes out of your speakers.

OK, here I am.... I got mine today, but i did not get a case with mine because I am a impatient person and had to have this device. I do have a few questions though. Will it be a mission to use this with Centrafuse? What exactly will the Flux Team need to make this intergrated into CF? Maybe a simple 3rd party plugin will work?
Also to add to anyone that doesnt know, its what colin says it is, but by using this you have no lose of quality and volume. Originally I had a simple 2 way splitter connected and it caused me to have to disable buffer mode for both HD and XM. I use buffer because i like the visuals to move with the music, with it off, the visuals just move around and do not match the music. Also the volume would be so low on both devices that it isnt loud, so you would sit there and turn it way up then say you switch to MP3, you nearly blow your ears out if you forget to turn the sound back down.
So for anyone that only has one line in port, this device is you salvation!
PS: I guess I will be the tester for the CF side.... to bad I dont know coding :-(
