it could be done, i just done think i can sell enough
specially if you want the analog ins, to be A to D and come out optically
dont think it could be made for < $100

im going on vacation today... i will be at the PGI Convention (google it)
i will be on internet by day, and watching/doing fireworks by night

hopefully ill put the product page on for this, and get info to mp3car, if they interesting in selling this item too

the plastic boxes are at the machine shop, i dont pick up till tuesday 18th

Ok, Mitch's CMD line code works great. I went over to the CF side and asked for someone to make a plug-in, and some one did. He said though that he will not support it though and it seems to have a flaw.

I installed it as specified and it works when I first start CF. I hit HD Radio button and it switches to HD. I then hit XM button and it switches to XM, but say I want to go back to HD, it will no longer switch anymore. Do you think you guys can tell me what needs to be changed to get rid of this issue?

UAS Control goes in the CF main folder.
UAS goes in the plugin folder.
UAS Source is the source code, but I dont even know how to access it.

cant really look at it without cf sdk
it is odd how it checks cf, for an action every 200ms
and sees if its radio or sat

I wasnt expecting you to answer, lol.... I thought your on vacation?

I think this was something quick he threw together.... It has alot of other issues too, it does not work after resume either. Also when you use it, HD (line 1) then go to XM (line 2) then back to HD (line 1) but hen back to XM (line 2), it will no longer switch to (XM) line 2, it will stay stuck on HD (line 1). Something else looks weird, that when you click MEDIA, it is set to go to Line 3.... not sure if that was done for a reason, unless I am ready the code wrong (Im a newbie, remember.).

Looks very promising. How do I order one? Also, is there any restriction on what it can take as input (analog vs digital sources, microphones, etc)?

I think the intended use of this switch is to have multiple inputs into a sound card?

Could it be used in another way? Such as the sound card being an INPUT, and a second input being HD radio (controlled by your cable of course

) and the output of this going to a HU?

Or maybe I'm just confused on this device

you need a computer to control the UAS, the computer that would have the soundcard installed. That wouldnt make any sense.

The computer would still be connected via USB wouldn't it, and the control I believe goes through USB?

i guess if u're using a standalone sound card like the extigy something could be done. I just dont see the point in hooking a sound card up to a computer and not using windows mixer to control it

its 4 in , 1 out, anyway you look at it

that out could go to an aux in on say a indash head unit
