Wow that looks damn good. The tech integrator in me is dying to ask for specs: SNR, Balanced or Unbalanced, grounded with the USB, stereo separation, etc.
All you need now is a set of pots on top to adjust inputs levels.

GizmoQ, of course its a single ended design!
no way gonna be balanced, for $55 and not to mention in carpc, ur PC audio is a weak link here, almost all unblanced
the inputs arnt adjustable, you could/should manage that inside the pc
good audio management sw could do it
with 1vpp signal
SNR aprox -110db
THD .005%
Seperation 90db
the down side, its it is powered from usb, which is only 5v! (a future version may allow 12v to be put in)
(and add some GPO)
but most of the audio you people need to select is low level 1.2vpp
audio gnd is NOT tied to usb gnd
no relays here boys, its an audio selector op-amp design

So, with this I could plug in four 1/8" jacks from different sources and select them in RR like an A-B (and C-D) switch? Is that correct?
How cool is that!!! I was JUST NOW looking at an A-B switch do do exactly the same thing here http://electronicsusa.com/mk1and2.html.
This is way better. Count me in Mitch!

Very nice Mitch! It would be nice to have an extension plugin for this, this way the RR source does not need to be altered to use it. Looks like another $55 to spend on the CarPC
Oh, BTW, I think you meant to say it will be available in the MP3Car Store (store.mp3car.com)

Davedog, no
it will do more then 1vpp
thats what the specs are BASED ON
NOTE THE WORD "WITH"
with 1vpp signal
SNR aprox -110db
THD .005%
Seperation 90db
at 5v, u should be able do 2vpp with out clipping
but not much more
else u will need to externally power it. and i dont see the need at this point

Mitch, you have done a fantastic job with incorporating the XM, Sirius controls seamlessly into RR.
The problem is, and its not your fault in any way, is that the source code you have is almost a year old, as that was the last public release of it. In that year's time, many bugs were squashed, new features added, and many fixes have been made. I think there have been like 4 releases since the last source code release, one at the end of November, one in December, one in February, and then one in May.
This is just a partial list from 2 of the RR updates that I could find:
-Added SETVARBYIND command
-Added fade support to "file" and custom indicators
-Added ADD1 dynamic command for scripts
-Added iList Position Slider Codes
-Added RADIORESET command for all radios
-Improved Resolution setting to not change resolution not present
-Improved Audio/Video Art preview
-Improved INC Definition so it can accept variables
-Improved IMG Def so it can accept full paths
-Improved Resolution setting to not change resolution not present
-Fixed Weather not pulling from the Internet
-Improved Ipod Support for Newer models
-Improved SiLabs Radio Support
-Set default background on transparent skins to black if none specified
-Fixed Built-in video player "SELECT" bug
-Fixed Radio Playlist issue when using line in plugin
-Fixed issue with SETPATH not selecting first item of list
-Fixed issue with iList long scroll when using large lists
-Fixed issue with loading iList on menu.skin
-Fixed issue with SEARCHFILES not updating song titles with lazytag=false
-Fixed issue with Indicator codes from extension plugins
-Fixed Issue with HEADING indicator
-Fixed Issue with Silabs not starting at last used Frequency
-Fixed Issue with SEARCHFILES when using iLists with no icons
-Added support to transparent iLists
-Added support to poll playlist paths directly from Flash
-Added support to transparent iLists
-Added support to poll playlist paths directly from Flash
-Added support to poll label info directly from Flash
-Added LOADLIST support for VIDEO player
-Added support to load M3U files in VIDEO browser
-Added OSKTEXT command to set text on OSK/NUMOSK
-Added command to wait execution of commands from Flash
-Improved LazyTag to work with audio browser
-Fixed Hibernation issue with iLists
-Fixed issue with sel colors and tag display in TEXT MODE iLists
-Fixed issue with unselected text color of Custom Lists
-Fixed issue with CUSTOMCL not auto-refreshing
-Fixed issue with ShowExtensions option in iLists
-Resumecheck of 30 seconds without updates instead of 5
-Updated Web Plugin to work with "RoadRunner" in the .skin header
-Ability to use Solid progressive sliders
-Ability to turn on and off iLists Globally
There are also 20 or so new things, that have been added. Guino has not created the documentation for the additions, thus he asked that they not be listed when I posted the last beta for 05/27.
If the code for the new audio switcher is in your RR version, then anyone wanting to use it will have to use that version, and lack all the above fixes and enhancements. This will continue to escalate when Guino releases another version, and you version does not have those fixes and enhancements.
Have you contacted Guino, to see if all if your fixes can be incorporated into the official source?
Again, you have done an amazing job with the audio switching, something RR has needed for a very long time, and it it were not for your research and development for the HD cable, I would not have HDRadio in my car. So I am not critisizing in any way what so ever, so please dont think of it like that.
It's just that its gotten to to a cross road so to speak.. The end user is forced to choose between 2 different Road Runners, depending on what features are more important to them.
