09/09/08 OFFICIAL MJS Road Runner Release
This is It!
Guino, did a wiz of a job merging all my changes/updates to the NEWEST BASE RR CODE (5/27/08). Also There are a few other things fixed.
.NET Framework 2.0 is required!
the XMComm.dll is Required to be registered, EVEN if you dont have XM Radio
--- Changes that are new to this build ---
* Fixed the dreaded Indicators in plugins BUG!
(a small change of PLUGINS must be done, i have a new example plug in)
(its so small, its basicly changing "false" to "")
* Fixed Silders in plugins!
--- Changes that are from my MJS Builds ----
* Complete rewrite of XM Radio, Sirius Radio
* Partial rewrite of HD Radio
* Changes in last source resuming
I need to update the NOTES, but one thing after installing...
if you got in the "Road Runner" directory a directory called "HD Radio" and/or "XMRadio" you can delete them!!! XM/Sir/HD controll .dlls are now all in "MJS Gadgets" directory.
*** I will edit this post further ***
*** Guino will add some notes too ***
*** Its Late... need sleep! ***
The file here is a MINI installer, it will backup any existing "Roadrunner.exe", install the new "Roadrunner.exe" + the "MJS Gadgets" directory, and automaticly register the required .DLLS
also the "Required skins.zip" file, contains a popup box, unzip and drop the files into your current skin(s). its used to provide error/infomation about XM Radio/Sirius Radio/HD Radio
I will post the Sample Extension plugin code, and my NEW UAS plugin!
So much to do, so tierd... will be back in the morning, but i wanted to get this out!
Also Bluezx3 is working on a updated RRConfig, with all the new stuff! (THANK YOU)
there is a bunch of people that really need to be thanked:
Sonicxtacy02, blk02si, GizmoQ,
barnyard, JohnWPB, Dave321
And of course GUINO!

Try this updated Mp3Art.dll file that has been fixed to work with the new RR release. Have not tried this to see if it works yet!

This is NOT possible with this release!!
The XM,Sirrus,HD files are now a part of the requirements for this and most likly all future RR releases.
After the installer runs, go into the MJS Gadgets folder and then go into each of the three folders and run each of the runme1st.cmd files then startup RR.

GF-Ler, Griff1, sounds like you're MISSING .net Framework 2.0
its required, and at the very least XMComm.dll MUST be registered
MJSG-RR-RunMe1st.cmd can be used to register
See I knew id forget to mention everything, I Edited top post

I m p o r t a n t
Unless the instructions are followed above, clearly spelled out my Mitch, there are going to be LOTS of "It does not work!" posts.
If you wish to use the new RoadRunner build:
- You MUST install .net 2.0
- You MUST use the installer, as the required DLL's are installed with it. If you were to try to run just the new RoadRunner.exe without the new dll's, (By say copying it another computer) RoadRunner will not start, period.

I've noticed a few issues so far, and it may just be my setup(checking on my work computer, haven't tried in the truck yet), or the fact that the plug-ins need to be updated.
The music progress slider isn't working, or any slider for that matter
iLists don't seem to be working
