Hmm that is interesting. I have never had a problem before till I updated. But that would make sense as mine kept changing to Feb but right year and time.

old version to try ?

Hi all..

I blew up my drive and have to reinstall on a new one but I can't get my once working alpine skin for my vw to work right now.. the flash vw logo in the center is squished and I can't fix it...

I shouldn't have to do anything to it anyway since it worked great before.. I've tried different flash versions etc.. but none work...

any ideas ?

please and thx.

I have a stand-alone flash updater that I always use, no need to update it through IE.

The way I see it; Guino is setting an unofficial SLA with us to update RR every quarter. Sounds pretty sweet.

Please don't go all commercial on us?

So I uninstalled the older version and installed the newer version.

No dice it still didn't work right. I was about to give up when I figured I would try the old Windows tricks. So I uninstalled RR again, and then did a file search and manually deleted every RR file I could find. Then I used Regedit and got rid of every registry mention of RR.

Shut down, restarted and reinstalled. Configured everything and Bam..... It worked perfect and ran everything perfectly even after hibernations.

So I guess it was "User error", though I don't know why it was my fault.

You should uninstall... You don't deserve the convenience of RR .

My existing RR works fine as is. If I chose to update to this version, I'd have to do periodic updates thereafter. This last choice is a chore I don't want to bother with and then down the road there may be a future version of RR that doesn't work properly with my equipment or software issue. Then what? I'd be forced to go back to the version I'm running now, square one. Do you understand my choice now?

No, the next version of RR will only have a splash screen and will not expire. So, if you update and it does not work for you the go back to the last version.
