Notes:
-Many thanks to Mitch for heavily contributing to the code and making an installer
-Thanks to Blue for the new config
-Thanks to all the community for the continuing support
-RoadRunner now will check the date when running: it will not run if your date is set BEFORE its release date, or 4 months PAST it's release date -- I know this is a drag, but this is only to ensure nobody loads it on products for distribution without permission. I'm also here to commit on making a monthly update from now on, even if just to update the version.
-The Dimmer function may not work well with iLists on slower machines
-Documentation is updated with all new commands/settings
Some News:
First, I want to ensure everyone that RoadRunner will remain free for personal use, which includes our great Mp3Car community. Next, I want to disclose that I have associated myself with a company in order to build a full CarPC product (Hardware+Software solution) using the code I wrote as its base. I will also ensure everyone that any code contributed to RR along the years was either removed or used WITH permission for being included in the final product. Also, the software in the final product is not being sold, it's a PART of the product and really only works with that set of specific hardware, so there would be no point in selling it separately as-is. Having said that, the sources for the latest versions will be controlled to prevent certain activities from taking place. If you wish to work on the sources (even though the best still is to make extension plug-ins), you can download the previously released sources, make your changes and send them to me so I can merge them in (basically the same it's been along the years). Otherwise, if you're only interested in contributing to this project, you can send me a message and we can talk about accessing the SVN server for RR sources. I know this is a hassle, but it is the only way to protect the best interest of BOTH the community and those investing time and money to keep this project going.
I'll give more details on all of this when the time is right,
Thanks for understanding,
Guino.
