Does someone have a current xmcache.ini file they can post? I know it's supposed to update automatically with Mitch's new XM write, but I can't get Mitch's XM to work on my system. I also tried Meisner's xmcache.ini builder but couldn't get that to work. Thanks in advance.

But Mitch is right, you're better off getting the new version of Road Runner working, no more need to update the xmcache.ini manually.

I did use the installer, but there are a couple of things holding me back from the new version of RR. One is the four-month issue mentioned in the release thread. I know Guino is going to try to come up with a better solution to that, though.

The other is with respect to XM sound quality. Generally, I think XM's sound quality is pretty lousy. I have improved it a lot using the line-in plugin and a little Winamp DSP called Enhancer. It really brightens the compressed XM signal a lot. Maybe I'm wrong, but isn't the new version of RR using Dotnet for XM? If that's the case I won't get any benefit out of my DSP, which will likely render XM less than satisfying to me. Am I wrong about this?
