RRConfig regarding video browse

I have not been visiting this site too often lately because my carputer has worked flawlessly since last year so bear with me.

I decided to update my Road Runner with the newest version today. I played around with it for awhile since there seems to be alot of new improvements and changes made especially the RRConfig. I have encountered two problems though.

1) I cannot configure video browser to display a different format than my audio broswer. (ie/ Audio Browser to display ID3 playlist and browse while Video Broswer displays File Names)

2)MPC embedds into the skin but forces the seek bar to be displayed.

I cannot figure these two things out and and older methods of resolving them do not seem to work.

Any help is appreciated.

Alright MPC seems to be working now. I don't know why, I haven't chnged anything. Maybe it's just my computer. But, I still don't know how to make the Video Broswer display differently than my Audio Broswer. The older version of Road Runner that I had was configured like that. Was RR changed to make the broswers have universal settings now?

guino will become famous soon enough
this in the provided txt files:

useid3=-1|0|1|2
This tells if/what ID3 tags should be used.
0=No ID3, First Case File name formatting
1=Preffer ID3 V1 tags
2=Preffer ID3 V2 tags
3=Mix V1 with V2 tags
4=Mix V2 with V1 tags

noformat=true|false
This sets whether RR should first case the text displayed for song information.
false=first case (default), true=no text formatting will be done

showid3playlist=true
This tells if the playlists should show the Title stored in ID3 tags.

showid3browse=true
This tells if the directory lists should display the ID3 tags information.

id3listformat=%artist%|%title%|%album%|%tracknumbe r%|%genre%|%year%
Sets the ID3 Format for Playlists.

id3browseformat=%artist%|%title%|%album%|%tracknum ber%|%genre%|%year%
Sets the ID3 Format for Folder Browsing.

The combination of the settings above will define what you see on the audio browser and/or video browser.

Videos do not have ID3 tags, but audio files do -- you were complaining about a difference between the audio and video browsers, so I posted the settings could make them look different.

Mitch brought up a good point, you'll not make the video browser look different with those settings just the audio browser and/or playlist. The only othe setting that could affect both audio/video browser is the titlesafter= setting (I recomend testing it as blank or =- and see which results you like.

Aha. Leaving "titlesafter=" blank did it. I wanted the Audio broswer to display ID3 tags on broswe and playlist and the Video Broswer to display filenames.

I haven't messed around with RR in awhile and am trying to relearn all the old and new features and settings.

Thanks
