SETPATH Command
Has anyone experienced an issue when using the SETPATH command. Basically what I'm seeing is that SETPATH will work for certain paths but not on others ...
EG .. on my laptop here now I have Drive C (HDD NTFS), Drive D (CDROM) and Drive E (USB Flash Drive - FAT32) ... I can see all drives in RR, but if I select the Drive E, SETPATH will not change to it ... it remains at Drive C. The same thing happens on my Car PC, with Drive C and Drive D (both HDD's) - SETPATH will go to Drive C, but not Drive D. Is there something funny in RR handling different partition formats ... NTFS V's FAT32 etc ?
any suggestions ?

Damn you were quick ...
this is the command I'm using ...
SETVARBYCODE;NEWDRIVE;CLTEXT||EXIT||WAIT;0.2||SETP ATH;$NEWDRIVE$"
..
..
..
but in the meantime I found the answer ... for SETPATH to change to a selected drive, the root folder of the drive must contain at least one file ... txt, jpg .. anything as well as folders.

OK, I think i could fix that, if needs be
its the VB6 DIR() function, as its coded, needs to see the path is valid, i guess by any file inside that path....
prob a simple fix would be to add vbDirectory attribute to the function

Yup. Currently, it needs any file, not hidden, in the target directory for SETPATH to work correctly.
