Audio title changes

Sometimes when I resume from hibernation, the song title at the top of the screen is different from the actual music that is playing. When I select another song from my playlist, both the title at the top and the music changes. However, the title is still not the same as the song.

Also, after resuming from hibernation, the song id photo in the top left corner under the spinning logo doesn't match the song.

Is there any way of changing this?

This sounds like a problem with configuration and/or your hibernation settings, could also be a problem with the winamp version you're using. I'd make sure I have the latest RR, then try a different winamp version to see and then verify the hibernateaware= setting in RR.INI -- posting a debug.txt file of your hibernate process would be very helpful in determining the issue..

I have the same problem with hibernation. When I resume, the labels are not updating, songtitle, albumart tracktime, actually all labels. If you click on the screen, the labels updating albumart is one behind the actual song and the time labels stop updating untill I hit another button. The only way is to restart RR. Hibernateaware=TRUE, no differnce.

maybe its something we should look into... can any of you post a debug.txt of your hibernate process to see if there´s anything unusual with it ?

post, debug.txt and rr.ini

make it a fresh session, start RR, use it for 30 secs or so, hibernated, wait 1 min, resume, use for another 30 secs or so, exit rr...

attach, debug.txt and rr.ini

thanks

Why does everyone hate cold booting so much? Or should I rephrase, what is the point of hibernating?

I have a really fast SSD booting into windows and rr in 15 seconds, and full shut down in 1 second. I really see no need at all for hibernate if you have the right hardware and software.

Cost would obviously be a factor for some. I just bought a SSD myself, but it's only 32g. I keep a heck of a lot more mp3's and videos in the car than that, so I'm keeping the 320g I was using. That's extra space and power requirements some people may not have.

There wouldn't be any need for hibernate if everyone had the same hardware and software as you, but everyone's needs are different, so hibernate is better for some people with the right hardware and software.

Thanks for the fast replies. I'll try to post the debug and ini for you all after work.
