RR and Garmin Trouble

I am having a hell of time getting garmin to stay on top when embedded in RR.
I have my window name set to Garmin Mobile PC and have also tried CDP_WND_FIELD
nothing seems to keep Garmin on top of RR when I press a play button or try to overlay the OSK.
Wht the hell am I doing wrong...this used to work great...

Contrary to other applications, Garmin mobile PC create a new window each time you change screens. So, it means RR probably make the first screen topmost, but if you switch the screen by pressing the settings button for example, a new window handle is created, so RR don't make it topmost. I have seen this problem as I am in the process to disable the exit and minimize button for my own interface I am building and I had to hook the click on these buttons and I have to reapply the hook each time another screen is shown.

I did have this trouble in the past though. When I made the overlay for the OSK it worked great.
Is anyone else having this trouble?

i'm using GMPC all the time with RR v10.10.08 and it embeds great - no issues changing screens ...

THat's probably it. I am using the latest RR. 6.01.09
LIke I said it has worked great in the past up until recently

no changes to anything related to embedding apps.... that im aware of... its not roadrunner vs riderunner

are u using the built in dimmer??? if so, turn if off..and see
(prob not, but worth mentioning)

Seriously though, that is the only change to my setup in a long time (rr version change). Probably over a year.

Now when in the external_gps.skin if I click on music control buttons at the top of the screen GMPC ends up behind RR, but if I go back to the main menu then back to the external GPS screen then it reappears.
Same with trying to use the overlay plugin. If I try to overlay the OSK on top of GMPC then I lose GMPC.

Sorry one last post, I have tried this on three different PCs. My desktop, a PC with a fresh install of windows and my carpc.
Same issue on all 3.

are u using the GMPC overy script??? (ElcosMenu.exe)
that runs outside of rr you know

why not post some screen shots, since im a bit lost

like i dont know what "music control buttons at the top of the screen GMPC" really means...

maybe put a example .skin to gether for me

you know, i downloaded GMPC setup as trial...
set GMPC on Carwings overlay works... kinda...
its a bit buggy... prob needs work
specially cause it might be looking for roadrunner windows
and maybe slipping past the compatibilty.ex

i might need to set it up in skin ur using...

Are you using this ?

I have it working with the latest RR and LSXVoid 3. Haven't tried any other skins though.

Here is a vid clip of what is happening.
Press the OSK button then press it again to close the OSK, OSK dissappears and so does Garmin.
At the end of the vid I pressed the next track button at the top and GMPC dissapears.
The buttons at the top are part of RR, not the overlay.

OH yeah, yes I am using elcomenu for the overlay. I know this is not part of RR. But it still screws up when just trying to press a button outside of the application window.
