i would hope that skins dont depend on any one player, but it could happen...
RR has its own internal playlist management
Ignorance is a dangerous thing. Search for "SmartPlayLists". And yes, skins do incorporate it, and it is Winamp dependent. Lots of skins from 2007/2008 use it. All my skins use some form of it just because its fast and easy (not to mention, the capability is already there in winamp, but that was before RRMedia plugin)

I agree here, my skin Ranger is Winamp dependent, with out AWRR installed , you would not be able to search,Rate, or anything, if you try to use any other player in Ranger (for Audio) half the skin won't work.

Skin is Carwings lite, Windows is XP SP2 Home edition, WMP version 9. Tried VLC and video freeze.

exit RR.
Restart RR - no art or track details on the main screen
from there, go to music player - art and playlist are visible..
back one to main screen - art and track details came back
exit RR
Restart RR - art and track details are gone.
It happens in LSX Void too.
THIS IS CORRECT
when you restart, since you dont have it set to "RESUMEMUSIC"
(set resumemusic=1 or 2)
restarting RR, AUDIO PLAYER isnt playing, its at NO active source.. therefor NO info...
it was always a bug before, now its fixed(actually i think fixed in last months)

Hi
I use XP SP3, Foobar 0969.
Music plays ok if I choose English songs. As you can see from the attachments, T-Chinese names couldn't be recognized well, therefore, the songs couldn't be played.
However, the songs shown correctly in Foobar.
BTW, should I save my Music Tags to ID3 2.3 or 2.4?
If ID3 V2.4, should be ANSI? Unicode-LE? Unicode-BE? or UTF-8
Thanks in advance!
PS. I've followed the instruction #2 settings in Control Panel

I would recommend ID3 v2.3 and Unicode-LE (which is the most standard) -- maybe you want to send us a zip of the folder + a sample mp3 file that you have that isn't showing right) - so we can test.

Try this!
PS. To save the space of this forum, I deleted the MP3 file.

Indeed. Changed the resume setting in RRConfig to "allways" and all is well.
Thanks.

No offence, but it seems to me that you have made it impossible for people to actually find the location of roadrunner at your site. However, I was able to find the org chart (like we care). For the average Joe, this is a little discouraging pursuing anything further with roadrunner or your company. Again, no offence but I think a little more clarity can get you a long way with potential clients, such as myself.
