Alternate date/time formats in RR and hibernation Q

I've searched thoroughly through the forums for any mention of date/time formats in the MediaCar/RR skins and I can't find anything specific. I want to be able to display the time in AM/PM format and the date in short month/day/year or 2-digit year. Guino, am I missing something in the .skin file or is this related to RR's code?

Also... have you tested RR's ability to resume playing from hibernation? At lunchtime I went out to install the latest binary and mucked with it a bit. After stopping for food, when it came out of hibernation, it wouldn't play. The OTF playlist was still populated, but no sound. Checked mute, vol level, etc and still nothing. I had to exit RR completely and restart it before any sound would come out. Strange eh?

EDIT: As a test, I paused RR before going into hibernation, and sure enough, when it comes out, as long as I hit Play, it starts playing again. But if I leave it playing when it goes into hibernation, it won't output any sound when it comes back out.

First, something is wrong with this forum.. I had not seen this message and it wasn't marked as "new".. anyway, this is indeed strange.. never seen it happen with the computers I have access to try it with. you should probably not use the "resume feature" for now, but I'll try to add something to wait a specified time before resuming and you then can try and let me know if it works..

On the time/date format check ou the latest version.. it has those settings in the Config tool included..

Let me know..

Yep, the new version definitely rocks!

Love the expanded config tool and all the many options. The resume play is still borked, but it's no big deal... I just have to remember to pause before shutting off the car
