Does anyone use WinDVD 6 embedded in Road Runner correctly?

I am wondering if anyone has tried to use WinDVD 6 in RR and if so, do the buttons at the bottom for Play and FF and Rewind working, or do you have to use the Internal DVD player for these to work?

Thanks,
Bryan

I have WinDVD 4 and that's what I use for testing the external DVD function. IT works fine although it is only possible to enbedd the video, the controls are always small and always a paing to get to -- this is one of the main reasons I wanted an "internal" DVD player controlled by RR's skin.

Yea,
This is the same thing that I have run into. I just really would like it to beable to get past the Previews, the only downfall to the mediapleyerc.exe.

I noticed that CF, has an internal Player and you can skip through the Previews on that, it is nice, but I think your Audio sounds better when playing the DVD, than Centrafuses.

I love the program. The more I can figure out about it, the better it gets.

Great work man.

I'm going to add functions to "jump to" root, audio and subtitle menus.. also you can use "up/down" to skip each preview/chapter for now...

Do you notice any performance issues with using MPC as the DVD player? On my M10K, it seems that MPC lags a bit, like it's CPU-intensive. Just the video though, not audio. Using WinDVD 4 however works just fine, except that when used as an embedded external player, it has this bizarre black bar (about 1" wide) along the right side of the screen (maybe it's a skin issue).

And more controls on the DVD side are a welcomed addition.

MPC performance I notice to vary with different DVDs.. It is my understanding that since it is an open source application, it may not be as fast as some of the comercial dvd players.. there are plenty of optimization optins within MPC I recommend everyone to look at.. in any case, you always have the option to use players like FrodoDVD (full screen or enbbeded)...
