oh that might be it, my play button might be getting stuck everytime and stopping on its own hmmm

Also, the visualization button takes two presses instead of 1.

Yeah, I'm going to take a look at that.. I may just be forgetting to initialize a variable or something..

Thanks! Still goes to a black screen though. Not sure why. It's as if it's not playing at all just stops right away. I even removed everything and started over with the latest.

show me your RR.INI file.. my guess is that you have incorrectly set the videofiles settings...

I don't see that you've run RRConfig after updating the software (if you even did it)... in any case you're using the defaults.. is there any video file in:
E:\Taylor\My Shared Folder\Video\ ??

I'd try the built in video of the new version to see if it works..

I also didn't realize that I have to rerun the config file each time. Nice to know!

I still can't figure out that white box in the middle though...

does it have the logo rotating on it or is it a "blank" white box ? has it ever worked for you before ? You may want to update the flash of your machine ..

EDIT: I've been trying to reproduce it here without any success.. I'm assuming it is a machine specific issue (VB runtime, Flash etc).. in any case, I double checked the code, recompiled and reposted it, so you may want to try a re-download (for the heck of it)..

it used to work. I had an infiniti logo spinning. I updated the skin and even erased it and redownloaded it and it just has a white box now. you want me to redownload the RoadRunnerBinary.zip ?

Well.. trying to solve your issue, I actually figured out why the logo spins like crazy in some computers... The version of the flash in the machine is what does that..

I recommend you try the following:
-download: http://rmc.pimpedwheels.com/Flash.zip
-Unzip it into Windows\System32
-Click Start->Run, enter: CMD (and hit Ok)
-On the text window, type in (each line followed by enter):
CD\Windows\system32
regsvr32 Flash.ocx

You should see "....succeeded", if so, close that window and try RR again.
This should also fix the problem of the logo spinning too fast -- I tried it.
Let me know if it still doesn't work..

some machines just have the flash support from microsoft (older version). All I did was post the new version and tell you how to install it..

Im a newbie and trying this out for the first time. Your app looks awesome, got the video and audio working great. havent shelled out bucks for GPS yet.

Question though...I cant launch any application from the apps window. like calc or anything else I put in there to test with. Sometimes I can get the calc jpg but the app itself wont launch (If I double click or hit 'launch', same result...nothing). Is this a known issue or am I doing something wrong?
