AUTO PLAY and Selection List played "high light" question

Well I just made my transition successfully from MediaCar to Road RUnner, and LOVE it, its just like MediaCar, but better, those small little details that needed tweaking (e.g. scroll title, and song name in GPS, etc). Anywasy Like I said, I'm very satisfied, but just have two minor questions.

1) Is it possible to have Road Runner automatically start playing a song when a directory is selected? (e.g. when I press the +) button. basically it loads up all the songs in the directory and sub directory into the play list, but it doesn't automatically start playing, I have to physically press the Play button for it to start. The only way I get it to automatically start playing a song is by double clicking on a pre made playlist in the audio Browser., it loads all the songs of the playlist and automatically starts playing. However if I select a directory to be put in the playlist of the audio player section it won't auto play. any way to change this?

2) I am using the default skin that comes with the install shield. (blue metal honda I think its called). in the Audio_Player.skin file there is the following text

Notice how the "Played" file is marked to show up as yellow (r=255, g=245, b=000) Just like it did in MediaCar, the song that was being played showed up as yellow in the playlist section. However in RoadRunner the "played" file doesn't show up in yellow, it just stays white. Any ideas why this is happening Guino?

1-If you use "Select" (the button without the + sign) the song currently selected will be loaded (together with folder items) and automatically played. What you described happens when you use "select+" (only adds the current folder into the playlist, without changing the song currently playing). When you double click on a item RR executes "select" instead of "select+" -- the default skin should have BOTH buttons.

2-I just don't like that feature... frankly, why would anybody need to see the item that is being played highlighted in the playlist if it is on (big) display on top of the screen? I also found that such feature in MediaCar was quite buggy as I saw many times more than one item highlighted as the current song.

Thanks for getting back to me guino. well No big deal on that second issue.. actually, your logic seems justified to omit that feature. Now concerning issue Number 1, the behavior I described is concerning the upper button in the "touch wheel" the one that is only the "+" sign NOT the on that is the lower one which is a "+1" sign. When I press the "+" button, all the files in that directory and sub directory get loaded BUT the player doesn't start playing it automatically, i have to press the play button. Just to make sure... are we talking about the same button???

In the BrushMetal Skin there's a button for Select, Select+ and Add1... Select is the "PLAY" button. Select+ is the big + button. Add1 is the +1 button.. the other two middle buttons are Browse and Back (in/out of folder control). The other 4 buttons are just up/down/pgup/pgdown.. if you wish to select the current items and play the selected item imediatly after, you should use the Select (PLAY) button in the very middle of the touchwheel.
