I have never tried for a lack of skin.. I do believe I made everything separate enough to where you should be able to do it.. although this probably would make the screen look cluttery, I'd strongly suggest to try (if you want it).. then if you come into any problems, let me know and I'll look at it.. I do know that when having more than one list (playlist + folderlist) you will be able to scroll whichever you list using the same up/down/pgup/pgdown and even touchwheel -- but there's a trick: only the list last used will be scrolled, so to scroll a folder list, you click on it, then scroll however you want, then to scroll the playlist, you should click on it, then scroll, however you want.

I'm not a fan of play list, I just want to select a folder (left) and show contents (right) and play the songs or play all songs in all folders (left).

sounds ok with me.. you should definitelyput a skin together for this.. I am very specific when it comes to music.. I typically like listening to a band and stick with it for awhile, then I switch bands alltogether, never had a single playlist and hardly ever select more than one band to listen to.. so I'm happy with very little -- even ID3 tags I don't use.
