Mauri, I think most people have XP's firewall (Or an external Firewall) these days.. I can't access the file either (just says forbidden)... would you mail it to me so I can post on my site ? thanks..

It took me a bit of fiddling with the site but I managed to get it downloaded. As long as Mauri doesn't have a problem, you can download it from my website at:

If Guino gets it on his site, then I'll remove it from mine or just use mine as a backup to Guino's.

Guino have add in you web space, but don't have update the html page with the link....I think it has available little time for this....

I managed to find this schematic and was wondering if this is still an good way to:

1. Power up the pc for 3 minutes every 57 minutes to maintain gps lock
2. Monitor car battery voltage through RR

What if I have two batteries? Can I add some additional circuitry to monitor the second battery?

Mauri has a multi-voltmeter circuit.. you can also monitor the batteries with Phidgets.. the circuit on this thread is very old and it was meant to powere the GPS (not computer) every so often. It works well and I use it in my car. I believe Tolisn has also made his own circuit..
