Is radiator running ??? sounds like NOT. Go into radio and run task manager to see. if NOT, then you probably did not set up correct settings for the radio in RRConfig.
Also, PLEASE double check that radiator is setup correctly. and working before running RR.

yes, radiator's running (see 107.90 FM - radiator.exe in TaskManager and the process also is active). Radiator works fine when used standalone and i think i configured properly RRconfig: radiator checked, path correct, and line-in mute on exit.... i can't figure out what's wrong...

Radiator should be in the TASKBAR (not only in the taskmanager) and it should NOT be running prior to running RR. Also PLEASE tell me you have DISABLED that scroll title option in Radiator as I stated.

i've "carefully" read your first post before asking anything....(twice or three times :-) . it's like you said: radiator in TaskBar without title scrolling and not running before RR.
try deleting your radio.ini file and re-run RR. The if it still says "0.00" is seems like for whatever reason RR is not finding Radiator ... tell me, when you close out of RR, does Radiator Close too ?? or does it stay open, cause if it stays open, it definitely isn't finding it.. then if you could, I'd like you to run Radiator separately, tune into a few frequencies and tell me EXACTLY what the label on the taskbar shows for Radiator.

radio.ini deleted (it contained only a blank space and a 0).
RR started but nothing changed (radio.ini created has the same contents).
Yes, radiator closes when i close RR.
When i tune radiator the label on Task Bar shows the frequency (this way "106.90 FM - rad..." and it doesn't scroll, really ....)
When i reach a frequency i setted as a preset (only one, by now, the label shows the name of the preset).
but all can i see is still a 0.00.
p.s. i'm using radio_player.ON/OFF/DOWN/EMPTY or should i use RADIO.ON/OFF/DOWN/EMPTY?
......tell me EXACTLY what the label on the taskbar shows for Radiator.
you didn't do that... :| do you have Radiator translated or something ? which version ? I just downloaded it off their site. Please show me your radio.ini file and if possible a screenshot..

Dude, you've reached the point now that you need to abandon that.
It's gonna eventually limit your options.

Yeah, it has already... in most cases where it would impose a limit, I've added extra (somewhat redundant commands) to allow for skin improvements... Anyway, I've got to the final drop now.. there is not any feature that Mediacar has that RR doesn't have now... so it can't limit it any longer..
@loscooby
I'll be posting an updated version of RR in a few and it will include the dlink drivers (new+OLD). RR will automatically switch between new and old drivers for you when you need. Optionally you can simply replace the driver and use it as default -- I'll post details..

i thought to have been precise, i'm sorry. these are screenshot of RR running radio skin and radiator version. i dl it straight from the site in the normal version. nothin else. i attach the 2 screenshot and the radio.ini file. i hope it'll helps.
thanx alot.

You can make suggestions, questions and post bugs about radio as long as you have read the following:
-The Radio implementation is not complete -- try at your own risk
-The "LOCAL" function is not yet implemented
-The OSK implementation is not yet complete -- I will add repetitions etc
-For you to use Radiator you MUST DISABLE the option to "scroll the title" on the taskbar.
-If you intend to use the 'Scan Local' option with Radiator you should NOT have any radiator presets -- otherwise RADIATOR will stop at your stations even if they're not "tuned" and it will cause RR to always add such frequencies.
-The "SCAN" function of the radio is different than what I expected so this command (previously in RR) is now "SCANMODE" and the "SCAN" command is now what it is supposed to be for the Radio (to keep Mediacar skin's compatible).
-If you have a DLink Tuner I feel sorry for you (and me).. This is the Buggiest Thing I have ever seen. I can tell you from my tests, this card will crash at any given time during different functions for no specific reason. In order to prevent it from crashing, the file "devcon.exe" in RR's folder provides support to reset the drivers when starting the radio. This allows to use the Dlink even after Hibernation -- but it doesn't meain it wont ever crash. If it crashes, remember it's that GD USBRADIO.SYS doing it (it will even crash radiator). There's nothing wrong with RR doing it and I can never recommend the DLink card because of this.
-The Start of The DLink Radio is slower than MediaCar's because it does this hardware reset above mentioned. If you don't intend to use hibernation or reset the card: delete or rename the "devcon.exe" file and it will speed up the loading of the Dlink radio -- but you're on your own agains crashing the drivers.
-The Tuning mechanism of RR only allows for ODD tunning (Frequencies ending in .1, .3, .5, .7 and .9). The reason being that communication standards only allow for stations ending with those values. Please don't question this: I have seen many HARDWARE that only allows those frequencies for better tunning as well.
-Searching stations varies according to your location, antenna and weather conditions so please don't think there's a bug with it -- I've done all I could. Also the PAUSE existent when it "finds" a station is because RADIATOR does not support for telling anybody that it has found a station, so RR must guess when this is done (by detecting such pause).
-When Search or Seeking, If you press ANY BUTTON, it will stop the procedure. This is a feature and a prevention -- please don't say its a bug.
Last thing I have to say is:
I don't know if I'll implemente the "local" function as mediacar has it. I'm thinking that it might be better to make it save the current presets to a file, then I can add another function to load presets from such files.
Once you have read the above, I'll accept any comments/suggestions/bugs...
I'll not even try answering anything that I have just stated above, sorry..
Guino.
Heeerress a thought.. Internet Radio... eithere here or as another module but basically for those that have GPRS to access internet radio stations.... like Real Player, Winamp or WMP.
