RR 03-07-05.. Few Improvements.. - Page 2

Nope no succe. I think I tried it all out, but no it will not work. I tested the RR config, the RR GPS_MENU.skin but no. And as I can see I've the wave on my soundcard because I can adjust the slider to get back the sound but it will not work with the hide taskbar, as I can't minimize the RR .

You should run MapSonic "outside" RR (not have RR running) to be able to view it's info with WinspectorSpy.

OK, the window title is "ViaMichelin MapStore 2.32" and the class name is "SWApplicationWindow" but as i said, this is for version 2.32, i don't now if Clarre has the same version...

That's a good start, I need some other Window names as to find something that is always in there... then I can put it RR and release it with next version.

But where shall I put in the name? In the
Map Monkey Path
GPS Path
or
GPS Window Name?
and shall I use GPS Mode External?
Excuse me but this is little more then I can handle, but I do the best to learn.

If it is the same version, try:

External GPS Mode, Window name "ViaMichelin" (without the "") or "!SWApplicationWindow" (also without the "")

It can be a good "generic fix", keeping locked the wave balance always.

Nothing you try on the current version will work... because the window name in RR right now is just not correct (in RR) according to the info you gave me.. The info you gave me is more than good, I just would like to see the window names from other people (if possible) as to accomodate everything at once.

EDIT: The mixer in RR is more than enough and this is only ONE line of code.. kjust gotta get the correct info and that's it..

Nope not even that works. And there seems to be another problem it raises the volume to 100%, but of course only in the left channel. So I have to go the hard way and autohide the taskbar so I can adjust it manually.

If you want to try a quick fix, place this file over your current RR.exe (must close RR first):

You don't have to care about Map Monkey Path, put the path to MapStore.exe in the GPS Path, put "ViaMichelin" in the GPS Window Name, and select GPS mode to External. This should get the application to run embedded, this is working for me, but Guino has to change RR to fix the balance problem...

Guino, I just tried to change the line to:
"If LCase(.AppName) = "viamichelin" Then AdjustOutput IdxWave"
and it is working perfectly...

As I said it would be a solution for it. Now I have to copy over all new stuff to the carputer. I'm sure it should work even in the car. Otherwise I be back.
