Question Best GPS Software to use with RR?

I need to buy some GPS software, and I plan on using RR as my frontend. What is the best (most problem free, best embedding, easiet to use with the best features) software to use? I like the look of the Delorme Topo 5... does that one have the road maps also? It looks like its mainly for hiking trails and stuff.
Anyway, any suggestions or ones to stay away from would be cool. Thanks.

MapMonkey (Destinator 3 maps) has the best embbeding, the maps can also be used with FreeDrive.. People say it doesn't have the best directions (and it's probably true).. I have not yet build support for MapPoint and it typically gives me the same directions as Map Monkey but has less features for car navigation (so don't get that) .. Some really like igudance/routis.. (never used it).. the one people say has good directions is Copilot but this one doesn't really embbed in any front end (which sucks). I particularly don't like the Delorme stuff because their GPS isn't NMEA compatible (at least the ones I've seen) and the application is really non touch screen friendly... so you take your pick.. I mostly use Map Monkey Although I have a few different ones installed..

Guino, Are you planning to have built in MapPoint support? If so how far down the road are you planning?

I founf that Destinator stinks for Canada support and so does Co_Pilot laptop 8 for that matter. I played around with Autotouch last night because it has MapPoint support and I was very impressed by the MapPoint Canada coverage. Detailed streets for the majority of the areas I looked at. I know there is not as much features as what MapMonkey has with Destinator but all I use this for is to get from point A to point B. Embedding MapPoint application is hard to use because of the menu bar etc...So embedded support would be the way to go.

Thanks
Chuck

It's planned but seems low priority so far.. the poll we had shows a lot more interest in other features first.. Look at the poll thread, I think only 2 people wanted it..
