Just a small question that I decided to place here instead of opening a new thread:
Does anyone know the easiest and safest way to make RR start up automatic when I turn on my pc?

drag RR's shortcut onto the "startup" folder under "all programs"...

Toady while driving I got that bug of the file in the playlist showing the directory path of the file. It shows fine in the title bar above, but I got the directoy path on the play list. this hadn't happened in a while withh this version, but it happened today. Also, the mouse doesn't auto hide when I return from hibernation. I know its supposed to hide when you shange screen within RR, but even with this it still doesn't hide the mouse. the only way I can get it to hide the mouse is if I go into Map monkey (which has the hide mouse feature) and then MM hides the mouse for me, I then exit MM, and the mouse stays hidden.

I've fixed a few more issues with paths on playlist.. I'm working on trying to get the paths to go away all together..
I'll double check on the mouse hide...

Hey Guino,
In the post within the link below
http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/road-runner/44829-visu-girder-help.html
you mentioned you were working on improving the "visu" command and girder. It seems you did manage to improve it somewhat, since it works better for me that what is described in the post within the link. Basically I can call the visu command with my remote control and girder, Visu opens, and I am able to play, pause, next song, previous song (all through remote). However when I pres the visu button (in my remote control) visu doesn't close, instead some text appears within the visu screen , something to the effect of "save as...(the name of the visualization being played at the moment)" and the visu pauses/freezes. if I physically press play on the touch screen visu resumes from its frozen point, and at this time I can press the visu button on my remotre control and the visualization dissapears they way it is supposed to. So basically like you mentioned it seems, that when you activate visu with remote, the visualization becomes the dominant "window" and you must physically press on ANY area (except visu area) of the RR skin, in order to make RR the dominant "window" once you have done this, pressing the visu button on the remote, manages to close the visu window fine.
Sorry for the long explanation. not sure if you have worked on this lately or not, just wanted to explain the situation in hopes it might give you ideas for a solution.
thanks a lot

I have worked a bit on this lately... I think I managed to make RR capture the keyboard for AVS and for Mildrop ... the other plugins I just can't do it because they might crash (unless I test first).. now, I highly doubt there's any way to make it work while the vis is on full screen... maybe if you use the AVS with the "Use full screen overlay mode" the VISU command would work while in full screen -- and that's only with the new version too..

hmm i think you might have mis understood me. I am not trying to run the visu in full screen, rather in a small window covering only the play list area. it is in this way trying to run it that I get the problem described above with girder...

well.. the latest version should "try" to keep the keyboard handling to the skin instead of the vis...
