RR 03-15-05 .. Flexibility ...
I've added a few things to RR to improve it's flexibility:
* Added option to allow all radio frequencies
* Added Line IN plugin support for radio
* Added Force-Hibernate option
* Added Command Translation Table support
* Added Keycode Tool for Keyboard Mapping
* Added Skin commands: "CTRLLEFT", "CTRLRIGHT", "CTRLUP", "CTRLDOWN", "CTRLEXEC"
* Improved Internationalization support to try keeping fonts
* Improved Built-In Video player to jump in steps according to video lenght
* Improved LazyTag option to not display the path of songs
* Fixed Hibernate Loop bug
* Fixed Resume Music Bug on Hibernate
Few Notes:
if you want to force hibernate add this line to your RR.INI:
forcehibernate=true
(There's no option in the config to do it, but you can run the config without loosing this setting)
The Command Translation Table can be used for those who wish RR to say different things other than "MUSIC", "VIDEO" etc.. I still have to make a way to change the "WELCOME" and the "GOOD BYE" messages.. You can also define your own commands with the translation table or make it easier for people to edit "skin settings" by having all your settings in one single file instead of making the users edit a bunch of .skin files. Check the ExecTBL.ini file for details on using this (this file is optional).
The Keyboard table can be configured with the keycode tool included. Just press any key/combination and it will give you a number to use in the KeyTBL.ini file (this file is optional). You can associate ANY skin command with any key/combination by entering the keycode and the command to execute separated by comma (see example file included).
If you wish to, you can assign the CTRLXXXXX commands onto your remote control with girder, and that would allow you to control pretty much the whole software with about five keys**.
** means that some functions of the software are llimited to direct assignment or touchscreen -- it is not possible to control MPC solely on the keyboard (just yet -- I'm looking for ways to do it)
Let me know of your bugs comments,
Guino.
PS: I have NOT forgot about the items below (so please just wait):
-OSK search
-Video Shuffle
-Key search on lists (typing to jump to items of match)
-Add Video Subfolders to playlist

Guino, your progress is amazing, and contagious. It's great, because I'm getting more and more done by the day because of your attack method. Keep it up! I've always believed that people like smaller chunks of updates, more frequently, than one large update in a long long period of time.

think i found the first bug.... I have a song title bar in my main menu skin. in the main menu the title bar shows up empty. only the song number appears, no scrolling song title. HOWEVER in the audio player, the song title bar works fine like in all other versions prior to this one. I ccan see the song number and the song title scrolling fine. any ideas why this may be???
