Arrow RR 04-04-05 ... A little more ...

A few more changes...

# Added support to pull RR's info using SDK
# Added support for Select(+) without exiting browser
# Added Show Location option for Mappoint
# Added Mappoint Favorites List
# Updated BrushMetal to include Favorites Feature
# Updated SDK example to show how to pull info from RR
# Fixed Update Bug when using multiple playlists
# Fixed GPS readings in Systems with Foreign Regional Settings

I hope to have fixed a few GPS issues some people were having..

In order to use the Favorites Feature, download the Brushmetal Skin Update (or full skin -- now updated).

Right now, you can add to favorites in the Add Location screen.. middle button across the bottom.. search for a location or use the nearby feature, select the location you want to add, hit "ADD" and type a name for it... you can then use it in the route planning screen's "FAV" button ... you can delete what you want form that menu as well..

You can add the current GPS position into the favorites byt using the nearby function and adding the GPS position into the favorites as usual. Although it is a usefull thing to have direct access to, I didn't have time to find a spot for it.

I am still going to improve on the SDK a little more, than make a COM object for ease of use.

Let me know,
Guino.

There's option in RRConfig to set the units.. (International Standard Units) .. checking it sets Km/h etc, unchecking it sets Mi/h etc..

Yea Guino,

Great updates...have all of them (LOTS). I will also be uping my donation in a couple days...

Just tried this update and noticed that you added support for "!select+" (thanks)...

Only one prob/solution... as seeing that there are more options that are avil than there is screen space , would/could you add the same thing that you did to the browse/home to the select+ in the audio browser...ie tap=add and go back player - hold=add and stay in browser...

Umm.. that's a great idea... to give you an idea.. that can be implemented for both select and select+ by adding 2 (TWO) words into the code..

Good job,

Could you create a button for OSK in brushmetal ?

this button exist in http://sjwaldock.com/launchupd.zip

but we have to reinstall whith every new realise.

Some french use mapstore (by Michelin) as external GPS applic. same button must be implemented in EXTERNAL_GPS.skin and GENERIC_XXXX.jpg

Its easy but they have the same reinstall whith all new realise.

Thank for us.

This method sounds like a great idea i hope it is implemented like this.

Is there any skin commands where you can specify the tap and hold to go to different commands eg if i Tap button it does one skin command and if i hold it does another this would be interesting so i can edit some buttons on the brush metal skin like the back button holding them could show up the exit menu? There are also other buttons that can have different combinations.

Guino i hope you look into this.

I think I'm missing something (other than a few marbles). I downloaded the brush metal update this morning and ran it against a binary built from the 4-04 sources with my hibernate fix applied. I don't see any obvious UI to add a favorite . The Show Location menu option was working.

Where does the favorites functionality live? Thanks.
