Ok, I've added this "NoDesign" option into RRConfig... When I heard of it at first, I thought it would work on all versions.. I'm leaving it as an option for those who like to try before buying..

I've updated the source and binaries with the changes Hematec made and the nodesign option. It was my bad in not noticing all changes Hematec made to the source so this is the reason on the PreRelease not working right..

[b]AGAIN: If you have tested any Phoco BETA Version:[b] The Address Book File had misspelled elements (Adress instead of Address) and I thought I'd correct it while not a wholoe lot of people use it.. so please remember to delete/fix your current file and also to update your settings in RRConfig (they've been moved over -- Phoco.ini is optional and only for language settings now)..

Let me know,
Guino.

A minor problem : some fields labels in the new RRConfig appearing incomplete. Another Internationalization problem?

I'll add a load of error preventions to the phoco code (right now has barely any).. then post it as a release (Phoco still will be beta) -- I need to get my hands on the T637 I'm getting to do any testing myself..

Meanwhile, if you can post the Phoco settings used and tell me if you heard the ringing sound or not, would help a little to diagnose the issue..

This is because of the resizing capabilities of the config now.. (i.e. you can embed it in the launch screen) depending on resolution settings, it's impossible to fit everything correctly.. I'm still trying to improve a bit on it..

It isn't the hyphen is it in addressfile or callsfile is it? Or even the fact it points to a folder rather than a file? Just ideas.

please check if the ringtonepath is correct!!!
i had the same problems when i forgot to set a correct path to a wave file.
as guino said, there are still some problems if a filepath is not given correctly...

i bet it's a wrong ringtonepath!!!

Oh boy... I think I forgot to add the filename to the setting on Callsfile and Addressfile.. try making it:

addressfile=C:\RoadRunner-Phoco\address.xml
callsfile=C:\RoadRunner-Phoco\calls.xml

and see if it works..

I'm now entering the phoco arena!!!
I bought a PhoCO license this night.
I have no problems with my phone (t610).
The only thing I sincerely don't understand is if RR can show and manage the contact of the phone as Phone Control make without importing importing, esporting or other conversion but only connecting the devices.

From what I understand, there's no phoco interface (yet) to manage the contacts from the phone/sim cards.. it lets you load them and that's it (I think)... this would also be something that many phones woudnt support -- thus the idea behind the internal phonebook in RR. I also appreciate this function for the times my phone will go dead dry and I need to know a phone number to call somebody..

you could use the calllist of your phone by leaving the entry for the callsfile empty...but i've only tested this with my phone (t630)...
if id doesn't work, please use my tool i posted above to get the names of your phonebooks and send the names to me, i'll then try to add the entries.
