well this is exactly what RR does until you press reload...RR just reads the phonectl.PB.xml and list this to the phone phonebook...with one entry per name..

Then what needs to exist is a little converter tool from Phoco's format to RR's format.. no need to be loading up more stuff into RR.. specially when it is likely to be used only once..
In Any case, it seems Hematec has already implemented that anyway..

Yeah, some users posted a decent speed starting RR with Phoco... it's probably the trial/version...

Phoco Pre-Release:
Just posting it trying to get the biggest bugs out before a release.. still working on other little requests too..
http://rmc.pimpedwheels.com/PhocoPreRelease.zip
http://rmc.pimpedwheels.com/RoadRunnerSource-Phoco.zip
If you have tested any Phoco Beta Version: The Address Book File had misspelled elements (Adress instead of Address) and I thought I'd correct it while not a wholoe lot of people use it.. so please remember to delete/fix your current file and also to update your settings in RRConfig (they've been moved over -- Phoco.ini is optional and only for language settings now)..
Let me know,
Guino.

I notice the speed think when my computer isnt connected to the phone...
Basically I start RR and it starts phoco, takes ages
Phone doesnt work.
Quit RR, start phoco through the normal shortcut, it displayes "resetting phone, etc, etc" then connects to the phone.
Quit phoco
Start RR, it starts quickly, phone works...
Maybe this is the difference between people that have it quick and slow?
(I have yet to test the 2 last versions)

I have a celeron 1.2ghz. I don't use PhoCo much because it starts and runs pretty slow. But I noticed that it's a lot better through RR! Might be able to use it now. I'm using the registered version 1.4.

Just wondering, what kind of cell phones is everyone using....and how well are they working? I need to get a newer phone. Looking for suggestions that will work with Phoco well. Thanks

updated, deleted the adress file, setup the config again. here are my problems. when i set the config to show phone contacts first it just shows blank, i still have to click the arrow to go to phone or sim. i have now lost all internal contacts. it does not show when i click the arrow to cycle through the phone books.
just an idea, could you put default setting in the rrconfig file for the phone control. just so people just starting don't have to change everything, they install and it works.
just call it dummies guide to...
